P.A. JON NUEHARDT IS HORRENDEOUS AND SHOULD BE FIRED

I HAVE UNDERLYING HEALTH PROBLEMS, INCLUDING CYSTIC FIBROSIS AND ASTHMA, I GOT VERY SICK WITH A FLU AND COULD NOT GET AN APPT WITH MY LUNG DOCTOR, SO I WAS INSTRUCTED BY MY LUNG DOCTOR TO GO TO MY REGULAR DOCTOR AND TO ASK FOR CERTAIN STANDARD DIAGNOSTIC TESTS TO BE DONE. I COULD NOT GET AN APPT WITH MY REGULAR DOCTOR, DAVID WIKLER, AND HAD TO SEE THE NEW P.A. JON NEUHARDT. HE REFUSED TO DO A THROAT CULTURE AND ACTED LIKE A THROAT CULTURE AND NASAL SWABBING IS THE SAME THING, WHICH IT ISNT, AND EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HIM I NEEDED THE THROAT CULTURE DONE PER MY LUNG SPECIALIST TO CHECK FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF INFECTIONS, HE REFUSED AND ONLY DID THE NASAL SWAB.

i HAD TO PLEAD WITH HIM TO DO A H1N1 TEST, AND FINALLY HE DID THE QUICK 15 MINUTE TEST, THE RESULT WAS NEGATIVE, AND COULD HAVE BEEN A FALSE NEGATIVE, BUT HE REFUSED TO SEND IT OUT FOR FURTHER TESTING BECAUSE HE INFORMED ME I "DIDNT LOOK SICK ENOUGH" TO HAVE H1N1. I REMINDED HIM OF MY UNDERLYING SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES, AND THE REQUEST OF MY LUNG SPECIALIST, BUT HE DIDNT CARE AND WAS OBSTINATE AND ONLY JUDGES PATIENTS ON THEIR APPEARANCE AND VERBAL SKILLS, NOT ON THEIR MEDICAL HISTORY. I INFORMED MY LUNG DOCTOR OF WHAT HAPPENED AND SHE INFORMED ME TO GO BACK AND SEE A "REAL" DOCTOR, WHICH I DID, AND I HAD TO EXPLAIN WHY I HAD TO HAVE A RETURN VISIT TO THE NURSE AND THEN HAD TO EXPLAIN IT ALL TO THE OTHER DOCTOR, AND FINALLY GOT THE TESTS DONE. IN THE END, I DID HAVE H1N1. ALL THE OTHER DOCTORS AT WIKLER FAMILY PRACTICE ARE GOOD AND SEEM TO BE SOMEWHAT CARING AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, BUT NUEHARDT SHOULD BE FIRED AND HAS A FRIGHTENING LACK OF REGARD FOR THE MEDICAL HISTORY OF HIS PATIENTS. HE IS AGGRESSIVE SOMEWHAT AND HAS ALREADY DECIDED ON YOUR TREATMENT BEFORE EVEN LOOKING AT YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY. DONT LET THE SCHEDULER TRY AND GIVE YOU AN APPT WITH HIM. AVOID HIM COMPLETELY AND DONT TRUST YOUR LOVED ONES TO HIS HORRIBLE CARE.

Spitefull non professional staff - Do Dr's care?

I also called on the 18th and had a very nasty girl make my appointment. She said test papers would be mailed to me and I had to get the tests done before the appointment. She was not happy that my phone number had changed, she was not happy that I asked questions and SHE NEVER mailed me the test papers!!. I called on the 24th since I had not gotten the papers - this different woman seems nice and professional - I hope she can fix this .. but i am doubtfull, angry and hurt. I am sure the nonmailing of the test forms was a set up to insure that I could not get the tests done in time for the appointment that I had her schedule BEFORE she wanted to.

• Pros: none and going downhill
• Cons: bad staff and Doctor's do nothing about it - so ............

Bad, rude, non professional office

When I FiNALLY got to make a required follow up appointment they acted like they were doing me a favor - I was afraid to complain - as it was the girl hung up on me without even saying goodbye after the appointment was made - When I went for the appointment and I complained to Linda the PA - she acted like I was making it up !

• Pros: none - go somewhere else
• Cons: very hard to get an appointment - rude staff
