Founded in 1952 by Lovie Yancy, this is a fast-food joint all the way: Order at the counter and employees bark your request to the fry cooks. Besides a grilled chicken sandwich and a chili dog, it's all burgers. Wrapped in paper, served on plastic trays and dripping with toppings--mustard, mayo, relish, tomatoes, lettuce and onion--these burgers are definitely fat. Add cheese, bacon and fried egg and you have a hefty, cholesterol-laden meal.

This place has the best hamburgers in town at some of the best prices when you consider the quality of the food you're getting. This is fast food you can actually feel good about eating!
