Not as Good as it Once was. My wifeand I have stayed at the Luxor twice. The first time we tried out this cafe right after we landed in Las Vegas. We hadn't eaten all afternoon so by the time we got to the Pyramid Cafe, we were very hungry. On that occasion we found the food to be excellent for this type restaurant. We found the price to be right for the quality of food. On our most recent visit there we were very disappointed in our experience at the Pyramid Cafe. The service is as good as it could be with it being as busy as it is. The atmosphere of the restaurant was that of a buffet. The prices had increased significantly from our first visit 9 months prior. In fact we ate only twice in this cafe in the 5 days were stayed at the Luxor. For sure the Pyramid Cafe is not what it once was.

Late Night Eats -- Awesome Hashbrowns. The Pyramid cafe is one of those hidden treasures (inside the Luxor) that not many people would flock to if they have better choices -- however, late at night its probably among the best little diner / cafes on the strip. Breakfast food is outstanding here, the eggs and hashbrowns were cooked to perfection each time I went and the corned beef and hash was phenomenal. The prices can be a bit hefty at times depending on what you order, but given the level of service, quality of food, and decent surroundings, its worth the price.

We were starving!. My husband and I tried out this cafe right after we landed in Las Vegas. We hadn't eaten all morning so by the time we got to the Pyramid Cafe, we would have eaten shoe leather and it would have tasted great. I would highly recommending getting a soda or anything without tap water in it. The water there is atrocious. I had the iced tea and it was terrible. Otherwise, the food is as good as any average restaurant. The service is as good as it could be with it being as busy as it is. The atmosphere of the restaurant was that of a buffet. Also, the non-smoking and smoking sections were not very defined.
