In searching the web I saw your posting about your bad experience with Maverick. I was shocked when I read this as our goal it to make sure all guest enjoy any of the Maverick Helicopter Tours as a tour of a lifetime. Maverick Helicopters... complete rip off!!!. We paid US$109 & boarded the helicopter with excited anticipation of great views of the Las Vegas strip. We couldn't have landed more disappointed. The pilot flew a left hand pattern up & down the strip. Sitting at the rear right hand side of the helicopter, my friend & I saw absolutely nothing! We complained to the manager but his only solution was for us to take the flight again sitting on the left side of the helicopter, but we would have to pay again! A complete rip off.

No need for a long road trip when you can fly...even if you are afraid of heights. First let me start by saying that I'm scared of heights...so when taking a helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon was suggested I was a bit worried. We decided that I would give it a shot. Our reservation was made with Maverick Helicopters to the Grand Canyon. When walking to the helicopter my husband made sure to let the pilot know of my fears. The pilot was so sweet and took my fear into consideration when flying. It was a beautiful trip and the Grand Canyon should be seen this way. I would recommend Maverick for the kind staff and the amazing flight to see the beauty of the Grand Canyon. All I keep telling myself is if we had decided to drive that would have been a long long road trip. Thanks Maverick
