IGNORANT RUDE AND HORRIBLE WORKERS – Save yourself from pain and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS STORE!!!! Besides the usual useless Best Buy sales staff i encountered ABSOLUTE ignorance and dumb beyond comprehension!!!
I sent my girl friend to this location to get 2 things a Media center remote (for windows) and a usb extender over cat5. Not knowing what these are is normal but for a COMPUTER DEPARTMENT SALES MAN to spend 15 min talking to my girl friend and then myself and then following her around explaining how I DONT MAKE SENSE on the phone is just AMAZING. this idiot didnt know that windows media center can be controlled by remote (ok) but then to take her to the universal remote section (for home stereos,tvs etc...) knowing i asked for a Windows remote is just dumb, then after that i tried on the phone to tell him i need a Usb extender but Over 16feet requires cat5 receiver & transmitter kit he went on and on asking me if i was trying to plug usb into a modem or router (cat5) and i kept saying NO usb on both ends that has female plugs for a cat5 cable to plug in to increase the length he couldnt figure out what i meant so he started talking to her again and saying how if we brought a model or serial number he could help... wow then i asked her to just grab a usb hub (powered) and he followed her (shes very attractive and that happens allot) to the section (she knows what a hub is and much more than this guy anyway) and shes looking through the hubs as he insists theres NO SUCH THING and that YOU CANT USE WALL A/C POWER ON USB.. bla bla bla, she explained that were hooking a dvd burner that uses 2 usb ports and that if it hooks to 1 in the pc than it only has the power of 1 and the burner REQUIRES 2 usb ports of power, he rambles about how thats not true (its in the manual for the dvd burner and IT DOESNT work on 1!!!! i tested it myself).
after a half hour she had none of the 2 items, and not even the 3rd backup item..../
HORRIBLE STORE WITH IGNORANT MORONS RUNNING IT!
Unpleasant experience – We went to buy a Netbook. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to help us. We decided on our purchases and went to checkout. The first attempt at checking out ended in a voided sales slip - we asked if we could have a copy and were assured we could. We had also declined the extended warranty offer on the first try. When another sales person began the checkout process, he again urged us to purchase the extended warranty. We declined again, and he kept pressuriing us. Essentially, he implied we either could not afford it or were stupid not to purchase it. After much aggravation, we completed the purchase and asked for a copy of our voided slip. He refused. We continued persisting, and after about 20 minutes, we received a copy. All in all an awful experience. The sales people are trained in such high pressure tactics and do not listen to their customers. I feel sorry for people who aren't prepared to know what they want in advance. Don't go there!

BEST BUY DISCRIMINATE, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION – Do not go to this store, I had a terrible experience. This store discriminated aganist me because I was Black with a gift card over 1000.00, the gift card was given to me as a house warming gift, do you believe they took my gift card in the back to verify it, and then came back to me and said I couldnt use it, I asked why, and the Manager Bob, couldn't give me an answer, so I called the rewards center to find out why and the rewards center couldnt see a problem with why this store would not honor the card. No problem whatsoever, so the Rewards center called the store, and do you know Bob, made up a bogus story stating that I told him that I got the card because I returned a TV? Now what type of mess is that, he just seen that I was a young women of color and assumped that the card was bogus, never shop at this BEST BUY, they will DISCRIMINATE .
