In Short
This restaurant's first roadside chicken stand opened up in Guasave, Mexico in 1975. A family-inspired recipe of chicken marinated in herbs, spices and citrus juices was an overnight success and the Mexican chain opened its first American location in Los Angeles in 1980. Ever since, customers have been devouring the house specialty--zesty flame-grilled chicken served with tortillas and fresh salsa. Other menu options include pollo bowls (rice and chicken), salads and quesadillas.

I would suggest sticking to the pieces of chicken here. If you order a chicken burrito you will need a magnifying glass to find the meat. Nothing like chomping on some dried up beans and rice wrapped in a floury tortilla when you are expecting juicy chicken. The salsa is bomb though. PROS: Salsa CONS: No chicken in the burritos

Great service with a smile. Always busy but great chicken bowls for the price.
