It's been a while since I stayed here and I realize this review is a bit late, but it was my one and only stay. Although the prices are fairly cheap, you can find better places to stay price to price (IE Excalibur). The rooms when I was there (2002) were fairly dated. We were awoken to someone on the emergency P.A. system with a speaker in the room at 6:00am that lasted at least an hour. I am not even sure they realized they were on the P.A. system with the manner they were talking. The rooms were basic and bland, and the hotel had very little to offer as far as entertainment, food, or casino. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is almost dead center of the Strip with cheap prices and little extras to offer then this place is for you.
Pros: Cheap prices
Cons: Cheap everything else.

I stayed here on a family vacation with my parents and sisters. A month in advance my father booked a room for him and my mother and a seperate room for myself and my sisters that was supposed to be 1 non-smoking room with a king bed and 1 non-smoking with 2 queen beds. The hotel required that he prepay for them. When we got there, the hotel instead gave us 2 rooms with 1 queen bed each without informing us that they had changed our reservations. When we got to our rooms and discovered they were wrong, we went to request a change for the second room. At first, they refused to change the rooms claiming they had no rooms left, and wouldn't explain why they hadn't upheld our earlier request. After half an hour of arguing with them they gave us another room with 2 queen beds only to have us discover it was a smoking room. Since I have asthma, this was an unacceptable solution. We had to argue with them again about what we had requested and for a $100 fee, they allowed us to change rooms again. The whole process took over three hours, keeping us up until 4:00 AM, we never received an apology, or any componsation for the trouble they caused. The rooms were dingy, the wall paper was peeling, and the restaurants were fairly expensive for poor quality food we received (at one restaurant there was hair in my food). I would not recommend staying here
