Catch a faint whiff of what the Strip was like forty years ago at the Algiers.. In Short
Located in the old Algiers Hotel next to the Riviera, and attired in classic bar style--semicircle booths, a few tables, TVs in the corners--the Algiers Cocktail Lounge is a tiny, quiet, out-of-the-way place. True to its name, the bar is short on beer selection (there's nothing on tap) and long on classic cocktails. It doesn't look like its undergone any major renovations in the last nearly 50-odd years. It's never crowded and very loungy.
