Most of the shopping thoroughfares in Las Vegas are so luxurious that normal people just have to resort to drooling on the windows, so the Grand Canal shops are really refreshing because while they have the usual luxury suspects, quite a few of the stores are actually affordable. Check out the sale racks especially--we all got exceptional deals on dresses and shoes.
One of the more interesting places to shop and walk around in, but so easy to get lost. Not all the hallways connect the way you'd think it would, and then there are even some halls that just stop at a dead end. Luckily it's not TOO massive, so it's not a trek and a half to get back out, hehe. But, I always recommend this hotel and area to people. It's a good experience.
Strolling through the cobblestone walkways of this mall reminds one of being in Venice. Well, almost..
In Short
The storefronts along the Venetian's fake canal actually do resemble old stores found in Venice. St. Mark's Square, replicated with a vast piazza and a changing sky on a seventy-foot ceiling, is a great place to repose at one of the many "outdoor" cafes. Throughout the day, one can enjoy live performances by creatively costumed masquerade singers and jesters. Art lovers will delight in the beautiful works represented by the many galleries including Bernard Passman and Regis Galerie.
User review by missyu. Not that many stores with low prices, but it's worth it to walk around. There's a huge fake sky on top with gondalas and people singing opera on them. You can even see human statues here. If you're on a budget, be sure to visit here for lunch/dinner. There's a food court with Krispy Kreme+Panda Express+2 Coffee Beans, and alot more chain places. There's also a great gelato stand near the shops.
Beat the heat!. This mall has tons of beautiful stores and nice restaurants. There is a fake sky that changes colors and canal (where you can actually take a boat ride), so you really feel like you are outside shopping.
