Haifa, not the place to go.. We had 2 incidents here, but at that time there was no other place to go...we had no other choice. First incident - We went there a little early for dinner and ordered pita sandwiches. We asked for some pita on the table. The waitress said something to someone, a server, in Hebrew which we didn't understand. Fortunately one person in our party is Israeli, so we asked him what she said. It was "No pita for the people at that table!" That's because we ordered sandwiches, not a full meal, so we don't get a little extra pita. Second incident -We needed food for Shabbos. We wanted some chicken, kugel, chalah, etc. They charged us about $25 per person, but what could we do. Maybe (as others have noted on Shamash, there are different menus for conventions and regular) they have a different menu for Shabbos. Fortunately, there are now choices, we would never go back there.
