Best Authentic & Traditional Indian Food in Las Vegas since 1993

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Vegas. Comparable to Indian restaurants in big cities. I'm a firm believer that even a bad Indian restaurant is good but this place is no disappointment. The service is very spotty but the food is wonderful and very flavorful. Highly recommended within the Indian community. I have a Sikh friend who has Gandhi cater all of his large gatherings. Wonderful veggie menu. The pakoras, saag paneer, and mattar paneer are my favorites. They don't do a poori bread unfortunately, which is one of my favorite treats. The mango lassi is one of the best I've had. They do a nice lunch buffet too for around $9.

This fixture on the Vegas dining scene is a well-known Indian eatery that features a great lunch buffet.. In Short
This place is a jewel in the otherwise tawdry Vegas buffet scene. Throughout the week, patrons are tempted with as many as 15 exotic dishes. The finely woven, spicy tapestry of Indian food is explored with variety and authenticity. Each buffet item is described on a placard, so customers can make easy decisions, but there's also a full menu. Meat curries and vegetarian delights top a bed of fragrant basmati rice.

Least worse of the bunch.... Las Vegas does not have any really outstanding Indian restaurants.....so while this place is overpriced, and most of the food not that great, they are still better than the competition.

The one outstanding entree is the chicken tikka masala, it can compete with the best restaurants in LA or New York!!! I recommend going just for this dish.....

I'm puzzled!. The service was very good ... but unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. Quite frankly, the food's prettty bad, and it's very overpriced. I went with a party of 8, and we all had something different. Unfortunately, no-one liked their meal. We won't go again. It puzzles me why it has such a high rating. If you're looking for good Indian food, and you know what's good and what's not, I would recommend India Oven.

Extremely Popular Joint. Im from Santa Clara and if you have ever been to the bay area you know there is an Indian restaurant on every corner. Any I have never seen any restaurant like Gandhi any where in the world. They are known all over so many film star from the indian film industry, state governors and all the awards they have reviewed. It was amazing when I saw that their rating was under 8. This place is packed almost every weekend. I give it a 10 out of 10 hands down. All those other restaurants they just dont seem to have it....Go Gandhi

Great indian food.. We ate the lunch buffet here on a Friday afternoon. Paid $7.95, which is kind of pricey for an Indian buffet, but not bad by Vegas prices. The food was very good and hit the spot! Great rice and curry chicken. They had about 12 different entrees to choose from. I was upset they didn't have samosa or paneer, but the other quality food made up for it. This restaurant is a quick cab ride away from The Hard Rock Hotel. Interior is very big with high ceilings.
