STAR TREK THE EXPERIENCE.
I visited Star Trek thr Experience about 6 years ago, and i had the best experience there. I was planning on going back for the Borg Invasion when I retire in 2013, but I found out Star Trek is leaving this year, this is highly illogical.
What about all the Trekkies and future Trekkies who havent visited yet?

I Feel the Need for Warp Speed!.
I come here every time that I am in Vegas. My dad is a Trekkie and I am a casual Star Trek fan, but there is something here for everybody. I would not suggest bringing a small child to the Borg Invasion, since it is a little more intense than the Klingon Encounter portion. Also, the Backstage Tour is very fun, but you're not allowed to share details with friends, so if you're a big mouth by nature and feel the need to splurge secrets, don't even think about it! The gift store is awesome, too, as you can go home with your own pet Tribble or bottle of Romulan Ale.
IMPORTANT NOTE: They want to shut down the Star Trek Experience because of decreased rider-ship! They were going to keep it open until the new Star Trek movie comes out, but they pushed it back until next May. If you are a real Star Trek fan or love the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas, PROTEST THIS COURSE OF ACTION!
It's not a theme park, Jim! It's a multi-faceted attraction offering a menu of diversions..
In Short
Even visitors only peripherally familiar with the sci-fi phenomenon will assimilate themselves into this fun environment. While other Vegas attractions promise elaborate theme-park surroundings, only this offers the depth of detail and veil of fantasy park-goers have come to expect. The museum is especially popular with true Trekkie fans, with more than 200 items making it the largest permanent collection of costumes and props in the world.
Set phasers to fun....
I'm not a Trekkie, Trekker, or much of a Star Trek fan, but I loved this! They really did this up right. There are two ride film experiences, one is Borg for the NG fans and one is Klingon for the old schoolers. Both were a blast. They also have "Quark's Bar" set up as a great themed bar/restaurant. The food was pretty good and the drinks were way cool. They also had several characters in costume walking around for photo opportunities.
I had lots of fun! My Trekker friends had an absolute blast!
A Must See in Vegas!. We go to Vegas about once a month for weekend holidays and ALWAYS go to Star Trek Experience. The food is great, the drinks are fun, and the attraction is superb. The new Borg 4D is well worth it. While eating at Quark's you often get to talk with Borg, Ferengi and Klingons who travel the dining room and attraction areas. We are going on our 15th visit and still find it new and exciting.
Not alot of things, but definatly Trek.
To be honest with you all, I was expecting more. I have been told several times about this place, and each time told to go. And now that I finally have I am disappointed. However, regardless of that it is a must see for any Star Trek Fan that may be with you.
The ride is not totally acurate, but I suppose it's as accurate as the mass audiance can handle. However, go and try it, the starting process will bogel you and beg for a second to try to figure it out. Also while inside look for the inside ST humor in the small panel signs.
What followed was quintesential marketing.
Totally Sucked. What a difference a few years makes! When this ride first opened, the staff really got into character and made the "experience" worthwhile. However, when my husband and I recently visited, we were disappointed to find that the role players were lackluster to the point of looking bored. Also, we waited well past the alloted time for the photo session and to make matters worse, Quarks bar was closed for a private party! Will not return.
Small. Excellent, outstanding stupendes, marvelas, Worth the money, Have a few drinks first.
