What People Are Saying About Olives at Bellagio

In Short – Tucked between two posh Via Bellagio boutique shops, this Mediterranean eatery's decor includes tiled mosaic flooring, warm yellow and orange walls, all crowned by a dramatic sculpted-wood ceiling. Large doors open to the outside terrace where couples enjoy romantic alfresco dining, overlooking the famed Bellagio fountains. The menu ranges from flatbread pizzas to chicken pomodorini with spaghetti, roasted garlic, sauteed cherry tomatoes and fresh feta.
Editor's Tips
- Where to Sit:
- Be sure to reserve a table by the opulent windows for great views of the dancing fountain show--or be one of the lucky few to sit on the outside terrace for an even closer seat.
- What to Drink:
- Olives offers an eclectic collection of wines from around the world, including Spain, France, Italy and the United States.
Really good food!

Olives is the standard that restaurants should be measured against. The food is soooo good and the service is exemplary. I am not even going to bother mentioning prices as it is relative to the quality of food and service. That said the prices are fair. I will say that I cannot eat here everyday.
Best Carppacio in Fine Dining

This is the 12th year I have been a loyal customer at Olives, a Todd English owned restaurant and I have been coming back several times a year to the bellagio located restaurant for one item and one item only...the best beef carpaccio I have ever had. As the years past the standards have been the same and the dish is mouth watering. I call myself a carpaccio conoussiouer..no place can master this dish..it's a must have with a breathtaking view of their water show...absolutly amazing..you must try this place!
Great lunch, beautiful view!

I made lunch reservations for a Friday in June at noon at Olives. My husband and I walked in, mentioned our reservation, asked to sit on the patio and were immediately seated with a great view of the fountains.
The waiter made suggestions and even told us when he thought we might be ordering too much because the beef carpapaccio was a large serving. We took his recommendation and ordered less and he was right. Not only was it a big serving, but it was the best beef carpaccio we have ever had. We also ordered a flatbread and a burger and it was way too much food for the two of us! The beef carpaccio and flatbread would have been plenty. Not to mention that the burger was just a burger, nothing exceptional.
My only complaint was that my water glass remained empty far too long and I had to ask for refills twice. Otherwise, a wonderful experience. We have already made reservations for our trip next week.
- Pros: great view, great food
- Cons: service was a little slow.

This place is awesome, i am a local and will definately be back soon, our server was Julie for lunch and she was so sweet! The beef carpaccio was amazing and the grilled squid and octopus was great too. View of the fountains too, what more can you ask for?

Chris, Ernie & Zack are the best bartenders in the world! The Tiffany martinis, beef carpaccio & portabello flatbread are my favorites. Sit at the bar to enjoy the full 'Olives' experience.
