Average Food. I ate at Jasmine in September 2008. This was my one nice meal that I planned for the birthday but it turned out to be disappointing. The staff was very pleasant but the food was just not that great. I ordered the General Tsos Chicken which was large chunks of chicken (think the size of a chicken finger) in a very sweet sauce. The portion was decent being about the size of a cereal bowl. The corn soup was actually very good, not too salty, and a large portion. The staff gave us a free appetizer which was nice. The drinks were pretty pricey but the view was worth it.

Before I had even left the restaurant, I knew that the food was not sitting well so I actually excused myself, got sick, and then felt wonderful. I felt just fine before eating the appetizer and was not drinking alcohol so I know that it was the food that got me. A little frustrated to have spent so much only to lose it before even leaving.

Overall, the food was average, nothing that I could say was amazing. PF Chang's was much better although neither is as good as my local Asian restaurant.

Worst of the WORST. Overpriced and BAD service. Do NOT eat here.. The food takes too long, the prices are ridiculous for something that you can get at Panda express. A soft drink (Coke) is $4.50 and there are no refill. Can't believe they billed us over $35 in soft drink refills. Highly NOT recommended. Eat somewhere else nicer like the Buffet or the Sensi restaurant.

Trying to cancel ypsilon's moronic review. The user "ypsilon" posted what has to be one of the stupidest reviews I have ever seen. He/she gives 5 stars but admits never eating there. His spelling and grammar are horrendous, yet he uses that criteria to discredit the reviews of others.

More Expensive, doesn't mean better food.. June 2007 myself and a companion dined at this famous restaurant and were very disappointed. We both ordered the Hot and Sour Soup ($19.76) which lacked any type of flavor. My entree was the King Scallops (32.88) arrived in a puddle of black bean sauce. The scallops were so fishy that I couldn't eat them, and the sauce had a pasty taste. I sent the meal back, and the manager offered to bring me something else, but when I asked if I had to pay for both, I wasn't answered.

My companion ordered the Neptune Pillow ($33.88), a melody of lump crab-meat, scallops, and shrimp topped with a crunchy noodle. Her crab-meat was so fishy she didn't eat it, but enjoyed the shrimp, again the scallops were bad. Her biggest complaint was the lack of any type of flavoring, absolutely no spices at all.

Overall for a meal of $96.33 this was a major disappointment and not even a fortune cookie!!!!!!!

Maria. Ok, I can give this a 5 star although I have not eaten here, but I plan on doing it on my next trip to Incredible Las Vegas. Rating, is not just food, or prices I mean unless, you are very picky or don't have the funds. It is the presentation also. People with high expectations and that knows of luxury would take the time to appreciate this restaurant, and really, the food doesn't seem that bad to me, I've eaten in many classy fine dining restaurants, and this food seems just like those. Now if you are reading this previous reviews you can tell that there is much misspelling and not that very formal English. What can we expect from this kind of reviews. Even after reading these reviews I am willing to try this restaurant and will come back with another review.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I don't want to seem to harsh, nobody got sick or anything like that, but I just would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have been there twice in the past couple of months and both times I was really disappointed. Service is definitely slow but I can get over that. The portions are small but I can deal with that too. The prices are high, but so is every restaurant on the strip. What makes me never want to suggest this is that with all the above considerations, the food is not that good. I had to go once for business and everybody ordered tame food (spicy prawns, chicken, etc.), it wasn't terrible but it wasn't as good as the place down the street in a strip mall which was shocking. Afterwards a coworker told me that you can order more authentic food and that is what sets it apart, so I went back with another group and we ordered more seafood. It was on a corporate account so the prices didn't bother me too much but seriously $200 for two clams... So we ran up a huge tab and ordered the jellyfish, squid, octopus and a bunch of other stuff. We were so underwhelmed it was really dissapointing.

To sum up, food is ok, but overall I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone else considering the incredible food you can get everywhere else on the strip.

Diners enjoy European-influenced Cantonese cuisine overlooking the dancing Bellagio fountains at this popular restaurant.. In Short
The elegantly grand dining room boasts European- and Chinese-inspired decor at every turn. Dramatic, patterned curtains grace the large windows from top to bottom--only to be upstaged by the view of the spectacular Bellagio dancing-fountain show. Chef Phillip Lo's menu is adventurous, using French influences to re-create classic Chinese dishes. The Chilean sea bass is roasted in delicate rose dew wine with a light ginger soy, lotus root and asparagus.

Money to burn on bad service. Service is EXTREMELY slow-(took them 20 minutes just to take the order), food is very $$$$ for what it is, portions very small, service is below caliber - they placed my soup bowl on top of the plate I used for appertizers. Wait staff unfriendly, only decent thing is the view of the water show (IF You get a table by the windows)

good but expensive. An excellent ambiance; food is quite good. It is very expensive for what you get. I believe the Peking Duck (for 2) was $75. Add the rest of the dishes, it is hard to come out of there for under $75 per person. Great view of the Bellagio water shows.
