Editorial Review for Gianni Versace – by Maria Budet
In Short
Versace boutiques mirror the colorful style of the designer's clothing. The signature lion's head logo pops up throughout the store, on everything from china and bedding to accessories, formal wear and footwear. The boutique underscores the idea that Versace is a lifestyle. An unlimited budget allows you to walk away with a little Italian style for every facet of life. The line is known for its extravagance and attention to detail. In addition to its easily identified patterned silks, fashions feature a combination of textures.

Even though Versace has always been somewhat overpriced and craftsmanship is sometimes inconsistent, Ive always been able to justify buying their colthes base on their unmatched styling and great fit alone. But when you throw in rude customer service after dropping about $4000 that's where I draw the line. Ive read that Las Vegas is not known for their customer service in retail. That is a huge understatement at Versace at Caesar's forum. The staff is rude and the rudeness trickles down from the management. Ive shopped at Versace in Rome, Paris, Madrid and New York and they were all snooty but not rude. They knew their clothes and were helpful. Vegas Versace is like shopping at a used car dealer. On top of it all the manager wanted to charge me $30 for altering my suit cuffs. I said you gotta be kidding me after what I spent. But still it probably wouldnt even have been an issue if they new how to treat their customers right. I will NEVER shop there again. I would rather make a trip to Italy before I go there again. the other thing is they probably assumed I was a tourist and that theyd never see me again anyway .... WRONG! but they'r right about not ever seeing me again. I will still buy Versace... just not in Vegas. to be fair not ALL vegas shops are that rude.
