much better choices. Do not stay here, if you like to stay somewhere nice. The people who stay here are not high-class people if you know what I mean. There was no decent food in the place. We stayed in a comped suite, which was ok, but the suites should be great. It's really far off the strip so it takes a while to get places. There are much better choices on the strip!!
Aged, Overpriced, Lame. I came for the 2006 CES, along with thousands of others. That's hard on a hotel, but no excuse for charging $350 per night for a second-floor room facing a parking lot. Inside the room, I found the lighting consisted of wretched flourescents that were bright enough for surgery. There are thoughtful ways to design lighting. And then there is the Hilton's ready-for-surgery in your room approach. I had to turn the bathroom light OFF to take a shower, and use the reflected flourescent from the hallway. It lit up the whole bedroom, plus the bath. Ick! At the business center, I sent a package out on Sunday, paid for two-day shipping, and they didn't send it until Tuesday, so I got my stuff on Thursday. How lame is that? Very. Close to events, but I'd rather walk a mile than stay there again.
Close yet so far. Went last November for college friends "reunion" - great prices on nice rooms. Cons - further from strip than we thought so taking a cab is a must; this can make you feel somewhat isolated from "real vegas"; limited number of tables as well so you have to leave b/c it gets boring. Pros - great staff - gave us a room upgrade as result of reservation error with no fuss; chinese restaurant - great food and decently priced; dealers - friendly and fun!
Relaxing Atmosphere. If you like your gambling a little more subdued and relaxing, this is your place. Off-strip location cuts down on foot traffic through the casinio and noise. Nice rooms, good food and great shows each time I've been there.
it wass a luxury hotel.. This was a great hotel even though many hotels exist in las vegas but the hilton holds it's own and it has a class to it that gives it the accreditation to hold it's own place as a great hotel. What made this as a great experience there was seeing charles barkley going to the vip elevator .So to make it short i encourage you to go and check out this hotel.who knows who you will see there. The only thing i suggest is to see if you can budget the hotel if you can you wont regret it.
