Our server ruined a good night. I need to voice my thoughts because our server was all wrong and treated us badly. We treated our girls, all now over twenty-one ,to a trip to Las Vegas on memorial weekend. That Saturday, 5/29, the girls and I went to Margaritaville on the strip to enjoy some music, drinks, and food. All went pretty well, and I would say our server "Adam" in the beginning was doing okay. Just before I was finalizing my tab, a group came and was seated right behind us, making it almost impossible for myself or the girls to get up, they were hitting as couple of us in the back. This group consisted of all girls and one guy that was holding a check stating he won $341,000.00 from the Palms. Our server immediately jumped to their attention and forgot all about us...I guess those $$ signs were twinkling in his eyes. Well, to make a long story short, this group was not being adults and our server was catering right into their needs. Basically our server was blaming us for the problems this group was causing. He acted like a child with his swift marched walk like a child does when they do not get their way, basically telling us to leave. At this point, I had already signed my slip, even left a decent tip, which now I wished I had left him a big fat zero. This was our first time at Margaritaville, and to be honest after what happened, I cannot see myself coming back anytime soon.

Highly recommended during off peak hours. The Perfect Margarita is indeed the perfect margarita. Those complaining of poor tasting margaritas didn't bother tasting anything other than the simplest one. I travel to Vegas at least twice a year and always stop by here at least once.

I recommend the blackend mahi mahi(catch of the day) with island rice and jamaican bbq sauce, the cheeseburger, the fish sandwich, the nachos, the blue crab dip(EXCELLENT), the conch fritters, the nachos of course, and the jambalaya. Come to think of it, I haven't had anything here that I do not like...

Old, crowded, fights. If you come to Vegas (as in your drove a long distance or flew in) and this is the type of place that you find to be fun, then Vegas is simply not for you...or at least not The Strip. You can find a place like this in an suburban shopping mall. If you like the Casino Royale or the Gold Nugget, then this place is for you. If you like downtown Vegas, then you might like this place. Full of old and ugly people. There is always some sort of drunk idiot in this place that is mad at life and who wants to stare at chicks he can't get. Often, these guys/women are outside on the patio facing The Strip. They think they are living it up. Never, I repeat, never pay to get into this place. The food is no good and the drinks are better and cheaper in any of the casinos.

Good food, disappointing service and dishonest customers. We were in Las Vegas over the past week and a half and ate at Margaritaville twice. The first time, we were seated within 10 minutes and had a fabulous meal and great service. The second visit, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for a table... another couple apparently sick of waiting even tried to steal our reservation by claiming it was their name that was called (fortunately we were right there to prevent it). The service this time was marginal at best, as our server took our order but we didn't get our food until almost 45 minutes after we were seated (nothing difficult, a cheeseburger and nachos). People seated after us were being served and/or paying their tab to leave prior to our meal arriving. The music was deafeningly LOUD and painful for the ears.

We visit Vegas frequently, and I'm not sure we will be back to Margaritaville.

Like it but LOVE the one in New Orleans!. To be fair, I visited the one in New Orleans 2 weeks before Katrina and had a blast there on a Monday night when it was totally deserted and got a tour from the staff. It was kickin'. Cheeseburger in paradise really was paradise!

The one in Vegas is cavernous compared to NOLA. Sat at the tables made of fishing boats but had to sit in front instead of the preferred spot in back. Cheeseburger was good but not as good as NOLA.

Still, it was coool and we spent a ton of coin in the gift shop.
