Editorial Review for Palm Restaurant at Caesars Palace – by Leigh Niles Reason
In Short
Dark wood and colorful caricatures of famous faces (and loyal customers) cover every wall, while crisp white tablecloths evoke a Manhattan-grill vibe. Starters include creamy, flavorful lobster bisque or shrimp Bruno, shrimp sauteed with lemon, butter, white wine and Dijon. Entrees range from house-specialty jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters to some of the best steaks in town. Paired with pitch-perfect mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus, the experience is carnivore nirvana.

Insider Tips
Where to SitThe outside tables allow serious people-watching and a view of a bank of slots, while deeper in the restaurant, you'll have a more New York City steakhouse experience.
What to DrinkThere's more than 50 wines available by the glass--the Cakebread chardonnay goes perfectly with lobster, while Niebaum Coppola zinfandel makes a perfect match for the filet.

Had reservation was seated about 20 min late. Place had a crowded sat at the bar had a drink. The drink was good and bartender was great. Was seated and service was slow right off the bat. No menu when seated, waiter went to table that was seated after us first. Order Tea and water that took awhile. Finally order or food i had chicken Parm. and my wife had Halibut with peppercorn. Food took a while which might explain why it was over cooked. My chicken was burnt on one end and hard and tough. My wife fish was dry and had peppercorn just sprinkled on it. It really looked and tasted bad. The manager came by and saw my wife had maybe took 5 bites of her fish and was done. Told her she couldn't stop eating. I was going to complain at this time but the manager started to make small talk and was actually very nice. At that point it would have been akward to complain even though as the manager i would have ask if the food was alright. We had a show to go to at 9:30 and just got there about 5 min early. Maybe the cook had a bad night but for that kind of money it should be better.
Pros: None this night
Cons: Food and price

As a local who's given The Palm 3 different chances on 3 different occasions, I've given up on this restaurant ever getting a clue. My wife and I have gone to many of The Palm restaurants both in the U.S. (Boston, Houston, LA, DC, NY) and abroad (Puerto Rico and Mexico City) and we always get a good meal EXCEPT FOR THE LAS VEGAS LOCATION. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Service is always poor, staff are idiots and clueless, and food is horrible (they wouldn't even take back a steak that taste like rubber and cook it right). With the premium prices you pay, you'd expect better but they treat everyone like tourist-chumps.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything - Food, Service, Price
