Unbelievable! In a bad way.. I recently dined at the PF Changs in Plant Hollywood and undoubtedly had the worst restaurant service I have ever had in my 30 years of existence. Myself, my sister, fiance and brother law all sat down. Me and my fiance ordered the two person meal deal where you get two soups, one app, two entrees, and two desserts. My sister and brother in law ordered lettuce wraps and the sesame chicken to share. Soups came, apps came, then only one order of sesame chicken (both my sister/brother in law and myself ordered it) and my fiance entree. I thought maybe the tray was not big enough and mine would be right up. After 10 or minutes, I flagged down the waitress to ask about my entree and the lettuce wraps which you would think would come out first. She initially looked a little confused, then said it would be right up. I assumed she forgot to enter it in, and also assumed I was going to have to wait for it to be made from that point. 30 minutes pass. Now I am pretty upset. I flag her down again and inform her that my entire table has finished eating while I have not even received my entree. She still looks confused. We also remind her that we have not received the lettuce wraps either. I think at this point she understands finally what I had already told her more than 30 minutes ago. How did she not understand the first time when initially ordered, the second time either, and then finally....aha...the third time she gets it. She did comp the entree and lettuce wraps but considering the whole dining experience was completely comprised I would have been happier have the entire bill comped. Also, I would have expected the manager to also come over and apologize, but that did not happen.
This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites..
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.
Average chinese. There is quite a bit of hype about P.F. Chang's Bistro, however, I feel that this restaurant pays more attention to their decor than they do their food. The food was never bad but it was about the same quality as your local take-out chinese restaurant. The noodles and rice dishes are rather bland and the other entrees are overly sauced and heavy. Prices are high for the quality and I feel the menu is very Americanized. When my friends and I ate there we were very impressed by the ambience (stylish and romantic) but the food was brought to our table luke warm and in small portions for "family style". If you in search of a restaurant for the decor but not so much the food then go here but it is not one of my favorites.
Beautiful Evening. This is a great place to conversate with your date. The lighting is romanticaly dim and the tables all have candle lights. There is a wide selection of wine and sake. I have to say that the food is definently flavorfull and the ice tea has a light after-taste of rice. The service is friendly and always ontop of drinks and dirty plates. The window walls give a beautiful sight of the sky (especially around 7pm). I love this place!
great all around!. the food was great and so was the atmosphere. the only thing better was the prices! you simply cant get a better asian dinner for the price. you can certainly find worse food at other places but to get any better than this you will have to spend about $60. per person somewhere else!
Nice Food. This is a very nice restaurant to take your sweety too. I had been waiting for a while to finally go here and the food was very nice.
Mc Chan. Boring, watered down, asian fusion, ready for the hoards of people who simply don't know any better. Enjoy!
best lettuce wraps. change spicy chicken and the lettuce wraps are the best in Vegas, you might wait a while to get in but it's worth it
THE BEST ANYWHERE. FOLKS, I HAVE EATEN GOURMET CHINESE FOOD FROM NEW YORK TO LA TO HONG KONG. I HAVE TO SAY I DEARLY LOVE ALL THE PF CHANGS I HAVE BEEN TO. THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD AND THE INCREDIBLE TASTES THEY ACHIEVE CANNOT BE FOUND ANYWHERE ELSE IN MY OPINION. IF YOU ORDER THE BLACKENED SEA BASS AT ANY PF CHANGS IN THE COUNTRY AND YOU DON'T CHEW OFF YOUR FINGERS EATING IT, THEN I SUGGEST YOU GIVE UP EATING CHINESE FOOD. THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. I HESITATE SAYING THIS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THE LONG WAIT FOR A TABLE TO GET WORST.
The best in town. They have the best food and wonderful service, as well as being romantic.
