In Short – Decorated with mock Roman architecture, talking fountains and a tropical fish aquarium, this is more than a mere shopping experience: It's an empire of attractions. There are more than 100 upscale shops as well as famous restaurants at this indoor mall, where the sky changes from day to night, thanks to the ancient Roman god Fluorescentias. Fashion hounds will love the designer selection found in boutiques like Gucci, Dior, Versace, DKNY and Emporio Armani.
Privilege Store
by NorCalGal2 at Citysearch
Was in Las Vegas over the holidays. I was shopping for a pair of boots at Privilege. The sales girl excitedly showed me a pair of $400 boots. She said there was only 1 pair left and they were my size and on sale for $99. She took them to the cash register for me to purchase. I shopped a little more, added another pair of shoes. Got up to the counter and the price suddenly became $240 because "oh, my manager found one more pair in back." She proceeded to start ringing me up. Told her no, that they needed to honor the price she quoted me not once but several times. Nick the supposed store manager said if she sold them to me for $99 the balance would be taken out of her paycheck. I told him that was illegal and violated labor laws. He basically didn't care and was extremely nasty. I asked to speak to the owner. He told me no, he would not provide me with her info nor tell her about hte situation. Obviously I left without buying anything. Worst customer service and attitude I have EVER encountered!
- Cons: Worst Customer Service!!!
SHOPPING AT THE FORUM, NOT SO FRIENDLY
by hosiery at Citysearch
Shopping at Skooz, and other designer shopes at the Forum:
My husband and I was in Vegas for a week for the Magic. We visited several shopes in the Forum and 8 out of 10 did not greet us, nor welcome us when we walked in for shopping. My husband entered a store and picked up a dress and the rep immediately yelled that dress is 10k! I guess to say we could not afford anything in the store. LOL! I also noticed we were the only ones in the store, maybe that's why with the economic crunch, she's really scaring customers out of the store. I did get a generous young man at a shop name "Privilege," and I did purchase there because he made me feel welcome. My husband which is a frequent Vegas person, stated "I've never seen so many sales here in the Forum." Well, they need sales and new reps to acknowledge all green money, not only the RICH and FAMOUS!
Horrendous Experience at Las Vegas Ceasar's Palace Versace
by lme88 at Citysearch
Spare yourself heartache--shop elsewhere. As a financial analyst of a retail apparel chain, I know that there are ethical businesses that care about customers. Give your money to them, not shysters. My husband and I are considering legal action against LV Versace. We request the franchise refund us $1,000. 2 days ago, my husband bought a dress from their Ceasar's Palace store. He asked salesman whether he could return it as he wasn't sure it would fit intended recipient, his wife. The sales rep told him, 'No problem.' We took the dress back today to return it as it was too small. Staff refused to take it back. Everyone at the store has told us something different about details of this sale. The salesman called in sick today, so we talked to saleswoman on duty. She repeatedly interrupted me as I politely asked questions about various store policies re the purchase. She interrupted to take "No cash refunds" sign out from BEHIND another sign behind the register and read it to me! She said the stamp on my husband's receipt said, "No cash refunds." (Salesman stamped this on his receipt AFTER my husband signed the receipt, then immed dropped it in his bag.) She told us that her store didn't need customers like us. While I asked her what happens when a sales rep tells customer something contrary to store policy, she dismissed me by ringing up another customer's order. We asked to speak to manager. She was in a conference. Employees of Versace Jeans provided us the names of the owners, who are also the managers. I later called manager, who was very unhelpful and condescending, saying comments about my husband such as "Sometimes men don't ask the right questions." The manager told me that I should be grateful to get store credit, as they usually don't offer customers that. When I asked her to confirm the owner's name, she said that she couldn't give me the owner's name and told me to send a letter to an e-mail address which is corporate's, not franchise's.
- Pros: One polite sales rep, Nelly
- Cons: Two sales reps and manager/owner financially, verbally abused us, deprived us of $1,000.
