In Short – This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various styles of potatoes. Traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding conclude the meal.

Loved Ruth's Chris But Never Again!!!

Worst dining experience I ever had. We had our wedding dinner at this location on May 14th, 2011. When I made the reservation they asked if it was for a special occasion. I told them it was our wedding dinner but they never even offered so much as a "congratulations". We had a party of five at 5:30 in the early evening meaning that there was our table and two others in the entire restaurant. The food was ordered and the Best Man's steak, ordered medium well, came out rare. They took his steak and put it back on the grill! Not even Applebees would do that! The manager promptly came and took the steak and promised a new one cooked to perfection. He personally brought the new steak out and waited for my friend to cut into it. RARE AGAIN!! They comped his steak and forced us to take a desert that nobody wanted or ate. My friend also went to the manager on the way in and gave him his credit card to pay the bill as a wedding gift to us. The waitress still brought the bill to the table. Drinks were not refilled on time and dirty plates were left on the table for far too long. Upon returning home we called the corporate office to make them aware of our experience and they sent us a $20 check "to cover cab fare". It was a very low-class experience and Ruth's Chris has lost a devoted customer for life. There are so many other nice steakhouses to choose from. My best advice is to try ANY of them rather than go to Ruth's Chris!
As expected, but check the prices

Well, we had a lovely dinner last evening. The steaks were wonderful and the service prompt and friendly. We made the reservation because we knew we would get very good steak complimented by solid and accomodating service.
We had a suprise, however. We asked the waiter about cabernet by the glass. He mentioned two choices and we asked for the better of the two. When the bill arrived, we were charged $49 for the glass of wine! We felt that since this was beyond the normal expectation, that we should have been informed/warned. A clever way of driving up the tab, perhaps? I question the ethics of this practice so if you elect to dine here, ask questions and double check the bottom line.
- Pros: You can expect quality
- Cons: Look out for suprise charges
Maybe the best steak I have ever eaten!

After reading several of the reviews here, they must have gone somewhere else. My wife and I dined here and found our food and our service to be excellent. I had the ribeye steak and it was superb. Tough everything was alacart, we had the asparagus with hollandaise and it was a large portion and done to a T. The best part though, was the taste of the steak. Steaks that have this kind of flavor are hard to find and worth their weight in gold. It was awesome and as a former chef, I apperciate exceptional food. If price is a factor, you may not want to eat there, but if quality and "great taste" is what you seek, this is your place. We will be making this a regular stop when we go to Vegas in the future.
- Pros: Phenomenal Steaks
- Cons: A bit spendy, but worth every penny.
For poor service and food; its sooo expensive it cost me my composure!

My mother ordered the filet. The entree arrived and she found it was spoiled. I too tasted the entree and confirmed that it was in fact grossly inferior. We brought the matter to the attention of our server who did address the situation. Ingesting spoiled food, replaced or not, is vile but when it comes with a $37.00 price tag, the situation is that much more galling.
Initially I dint not want to make a scene since the matter had been addressed but after leaving the restaurant I still felt grossly disappointed; especially having never, until tonight, left a Ruth's Chris establishment regretting I just hadn't patronized a Lawry's, Houston?s, or even a Black Angus instead. Believing the matter should be brought to the attention of the manager I called the restaurant and spoke with Patrick, one of two General Managers for the restaurant. As I expressed my concerns he stated that "...there is no way spoiled meat is ever served..." Patrick's apology consisted of "...I'm sorry that you feel that you were served bad meat..." I reminded Patrick that it was definitely not a ?feeling? but a fact; in response to my continued discontent he recommended that I submit my concerns to Ruth's Chris corporate offices.
I am thoroughly astounded by the response of the General Manager of this establishment. His attitude and tone were condescending and insulting. I would expect better service from Mc Donald?s. I cannot fathom leaving an establishment of Ruth's Chris' caliber having experienced such disappointment. As I wrote earlier, I have dined at several Ruth's Chris in Southern California (San Diego, Beverly Hills, Irvine, and Palm Desert) with beyond excellent food, servers, hostesses, and managers; so to patronize one lacking in three of those four areas is regrettable and will not be repeated.

my boyfriend and i went there for valentines day...i heard so much hype about the restaurant but to tell u the truth...i would never go there again...i ordered the filet (the girl said the "petit" should make me full"...to my surprise...it was less than the size of my fist!!! it was around $30 for that little thing....i wish she told me that for a few dollars more, i could have gotten double the oz......the potatoes au gratin didnt have any flavor...its just some semi mashed potatoes slapped with melted cheese...my boyfriend ordered the pork chopped that had too much of an apple-y taste....their baked potato is pretty good..but then again..i can go to another restaurant for a baked potato like that, but half the price
- Pros: flavorful steak
- Cons: pricey, small portions for the price you pay
