I'd rather eat card board.. Every time I make the mistake of eating at America, I'm upset that I didn't simply walk down the way for a greasy slice of pizza. Every time I'm there the service is horrible and the food is worse. You'd think they'd do something about this place after a few years. I guess awful is acceptable.

use to be good!!!. As an avid Vegas visitor I know all about restaurants. This place use to be really good, but the quality of food and service has gone down. Although, I never had to wait in line becuase i am always an invited guest. They had the best Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, and ribs in very large portions. But I have to give a 3 star because last time we were there, the food was not that good and service was extremely slow although the restaurant was not even full. Our glasses sat empty and we wanted other things as well that we did not get. It is a 24hr place but beleive me there are alot of 24hr restaurants in Vegas, ie: Bellagio Caffee, The Lux at the Venetian, St Louse at Paris - which is a GREAT, ofcourse Caesars has the Aqua Cafe and Wynn has a cafe as well. So if you are in Vegas for the first time, skip this place and enjoy dinner some other nicer place to leave you a better memory....

Located in the New York New York Casino. I visited Las Vegas on my last birthday and I ended up staying out late. This place was a great spot to grab a late night appetizer. I had the fried blue cheese jalepenos and it came 4 on a neat plate. Not anything to fill you up but it was a scrumptious snack. My husband had the Philly Cheese Steak, and also a huge platter of nachos which we could of shared with the table of three next to us! The prices are great, the menu is creative, and you sit under a Gynormous statue of the United States. I would recommend this to people on a budget, families, and anyone out too late but not ready to go to bed. I am going back to Vegas for my anniversary and I plan on stopping here for a quality cheap meal.

America thru food. If you are from Wisconsin and never had Maryland Crab Cakes, this the place to experience it. Each state has its most known and tasty food. The menu is easy to read and served in such a way, you would swear that you are special. There is something for everyone here; kids and adults, vegans and hearty meat eaters. A finicky family can eat here and leave satisfied.

The broad range of regional dishes from across the States make a trip here worthwhile.. In Short
More than 50 artists worked to produce replicas of each state's icons, attributes and products. Vintage postcards and posters keep the eyes busy as the appetite is tempted. Only a few states get short shrift (New Hampshire and North Dakota apparently have even less indigenous cuisine than Nevada), and the all-American burgers and down-home country breakfasts are definitely best bets. The Philly cheese steak and California cobb salad offer a culinary trip around the states.

Don't eat here. The food tasted like the frozen stuff you would buy at the grocery store - straight out of the microwave. The decor isn't even that great or special. There are FAR better cheap places to eat. Skip this one!

Going Downhill!. Use to be a good place for breakfast, very poor service, food cold, not willing to fix problems promptly.

Don't bother!. Overpriced, lousy service, long wait for service. Food was unexceptional!

Fun for All. We had a lot of fun eating at the America. They most interesting part of the restaurant is the large map of the USA on the ceiling. The food and service were good.

don't even step in here. We stayed at the NY-NY last fall, and had the misfortunate of eating at America twice. It wasn't our first choice- it was just the only restaurant open that late at night. We had been drinking all night and yet the food was still terrible. The sandwiches and breakfast items were poor, and even quality of service was not good.

Only pros: open 24 hours a day, and it's so huge that you'll never wait for a table.
