I've been going to Antonio's for about 5 years..thought the food was pretty decent. As a former New Yorker I thought that it was pretty close to what I was used to back East. The owner was a nice guy, family run, etc. I went in today, and the Antonio's sign is still up along the road but it was like going to the Ukraine when I went in. It was being run by about 8 kids who were were in their late teens to early 20's. All speaking Russian...and let me say (whether it's politically correct or not) I find it very rude for the staff to be speaking in their native language in front of me. I would expect that if I went to a Russian restaurant...not a pizza joint. I had to wait an hour for a plain cheese pizza and antipasto salad that was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. No sorry for the delay, can I offer you something while you wait, can I give you a discount because of the delay, etc. While I was waiting I watched on 4 different occasions as these kids went into these large freezers (that are along the walls and going into the dining area) and pull out large commercial jars of sauce, salad dressing, some kind of frozen appetizer and frozen gyro meat out of a box. I found that to be totally unappealing...sort of like waving a banner saying "yes...everything we have here is ready-made!" As for the pizza...it was ok, but the crust sucked. Very obvious that it's not fresh dough and also pre-made. And to the previous reviewer...you're right...they are not only thin, but nearly emaciated! What's up with that? Just a weird, disappointing experience. I won't be going back.
Oh well - nice while it lasted

I reviewed this place a few months ago and said this was some of the best NY Pizza I'd ever had and I've had my share of Pizza from the Big Apple. Well, looks like they changed hands and everyone is from Russia. Not saying Russians can't make NY style pizza, but they don't here. Had a one topping mushroom pizza, medium 16" for a great walk-in price of $5.95. The pizza was average. Better than the chains, of course, but things like all the cheese sliding off once it got a bit cooler, a trace of mushrooms, and too much cheese. Yes, too much cheese. A NY style slice has just enough cheese to meld together and has a slightly toasted-burnt touch to it. The crust was again better than chains, but it lacked that NY style crust from a few months ago.
HOWEVER - their WINGS are really great! The hot wings actually had just a little spice and you have to add more spice to them to make them hot, but the garlic-parmesan wings were a thing of fattening beauty. They're also very large!
One other thing - everyone that worked there were skinny - either the owner is starving them or they don't like their own cooking. I was once told if you see a skinny chef, run!
