Rude and not forthcoming with information. This store is really two stores in one. But you wouldn't know that when you call. My fiance's glasses were ruined and we were frantically searching on a Sunday afternoon to find a place that was open and had the possibility of "one-hour glasses". Finally I found Eye Master's and called to get more information. The female I spoke with told me that yes, a doctor was in today and as long as I got there by 4pm, I would be fine. I was already 2:50 pm and we lived kind far--we got there by 3:45 and was told that they stop doing exams by 3pm. I told them what happened and they were really rude and told that I must have talked to the other side and they have nothing to do with that. They said that they are closing soon. I said why don't all the employees know that operating hours and they scoffed at me and said that they are separate from the glasses part. They definitely had attitude and of course I was irritated--we drove there for nothing and we really needed to get my fiance glasses. It just boggles my mind that employees that work, in essence, the same stored don't know the operating hours--and then are rude when you ask them why they don't communicate with each other. They seemed like they thought the personnel who worked in that other section were lowly. My advice is to ask to speak directly to the exam/doctor's side if that's who you need and the glasses side if not.
Read the fine print. I purchased two pairs of glasses from this store recently. I came in since they had a 2 for 1 special. I ordered anti-glare and anti-reflective coating for both pairs. Well it doesn't work, and when I came in to show them the glare and reflection I was getting on my new glasses they tried to upsell me on more anti-glare/anti-reflect coatings with no guarantee that it would work any better than what was on there already. Only after much discussion do they admit that the coatings they use just "reduce" glare or reflection, it doesn't eliminate it. Never had a problem with glare or reflection when I purchased glasses from a COMPETITOR'S store in the past. Of course this store won't tell you that BEFORE you purchase it. Know what you are getting into before you buy anything from this store.
Great Customer Service. Me and my wife both Recently purchased two pairs of glasses each and the lady who helped us was very nice also they have some great specials and if you shop around you will find that they offer some great prices. As for the complaints below it looks as if they have cleaned up their act as now they have an information desk and no sign in sheet also it seemed like they had quite a number of staff members ready and willing to assist guests with their glasses. we will see but right now I am happy with them. the only draw back was that the glasses had to be special ordered and it took a week to get our glasses. But other than that I think they have cleaned up their operation. The company that I have Experienced the worst service with is Eye Glass World I will never go back to that place!
Poor Customer Service.
I had the misfortune of visiting Eye Masters on three occasions. On each occasion I experienced extremely long waits. Even when I just wanted to pick up glasses I had already payed for, I was forced to wait close to a half-hour, only to have my place on the sign-in sheet disregarded as the attendant served another angry and impatient customer who came in after me. Absolutely a terrible experience, I highly recommend you avoid Eye Masters.
This review does not reflect Dr. Knisley. She gets five stars for being cheerful, friendly and eager to answer questions. Go ahead and get an eye exam from Dr. Knisley, but then run out the door and buy your glasses elsewhere!
I went to meadows mall to buy 2 pairs of eyeglass from their specials. I picked 2 nice frames for my new prescriptions and was told to come back by 2:00 pm for pick-up. To my dismay, they were not ready so I told them I'll be back next day because of my work schedule. The next day they gave me my new lenses and tried them but I told them my old lenses are better than my new lenses they made, I said something is not right in those new lenses, they make me cross-eyed and they made my surroundings very blurry. They told me to come back again the next day at the same time and they will make another lenses. They said it must be the machine they're using. The next day I went there again and tried the new lenses. The clear prescription lenses looks great but the prescription sunglasses again this time didn't pass AGAIN the grading and they told me to come back again the next day which I did again with all my understanding and patience - but really anybody in my shoes will be really really ticked off with all their incompetence. I can't believe this things are happening to me. It takes me about 12 miles each time I come back to them, my time and gas and all. So when I went back to get my sunglasses, I tried it, it seems glaring but the grade were better so I took it home. I tried my new sunglasses at home but noticed that the glare or reflection in my right lenses are not coming off. so I cleaned it hoping that they maybe just dirt or any finger marks - but after thoroughly cleaning the lenses, the whitish spot right at the center of my right lenses didn't come off. I had concluded that I have to return them again. I talked to a technician at the eyemaster store and he said the lenses were smashed off and definitely they have to replace it. I said I would not use those lenses because it looks like I have a cataract or glaucoma. This time my wife who was with me was already fuming mad about the situation. My wife said, we'll just get our money back because they keep messing my sunglasses. It just shows the eyemaster have a bunch of incompetent technicians and workers! they really socks!. We demanded to see the manager of the store but they said the manager is so busy in the lab and she has no time to face our legitimate complain. What a coward irresponsible manager! The lady attending us said she'll just return a small amount of the package price because we are coming off from the 2-pair special. My wife asked her for any compensation for all the delays and inconveniences they had caused us. The lady responded negatively and she would not make a move to ask anybody superior to her about our request. Anyway she said if we will just give them another chance to make me another sunglass they will appreciate it. My wife and I agreed to just give them another chance but it will take a couple of days to do it. The lady said they have to order the lenses for the sunglasses! So much delay! They don't check their inventories if one item is about to be in a critical stock or out of stock. She promised me to call next day but 2 days had passed already there's not even one call from the eyemaster @ meadows mall, Las Vegas! I hope this things that happened to me won't happen to other people. This is the WORST service i had experienced my entire life. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER COME BACK to this store again. Somebody in this branch deserved to be fired from her job!
