Great place to worship Sundays, Wed, radio 88.1 12:00 suday. I have been a member of GNJ for over 40 years and have enjoyed every moment. This is a church where members donate their time and resources to help the needy and afflicted. GNJ shares the gospel, serve the city through feeding, job training referrals, prays for hurting people and worships thru praise

I was hurt to read a negative review of GNJ because there must have been more to the story than mentioned. Some members join but never interact with the church. Some members join one sunday and never come back, some members join and never partnership with other members. GNJ has classes in to train to associate as well as join.

Greater New Jerusalem Church Gone & Soon Forgotten. Good Day All,

My Grandmother Elia Mae Crudup was a member of Greater New Jerusalem Church for most of her life. When she passed away she was 92 years old. She was not able to attend church approximately 7 or 8 years before she passed, but still should have been considered a member. Elia Mae never joined another church. When she passed we called and ask for help with the repass, and the two people I spoke to the First Lady of the Church and Miss Jessie Alexander said that my grandmother hadn't been to church in awhile. Not considering her age and possible medical problems. In fact being that she was a member for well over 50 years someone from the ministry might have seen why she stopped coming to church. In the end there was chicken, rolls and potato salad offered for 20 people, by that time I was displease with the attitude of the representatives of Greater New Jerusalem Church. I would hope that any ministry would treat all members better than what was represented.

Kim Alexander
