Excellent.
Wonderful Thai meals. Extensive menu from all over Thailand, including much that you don't find in other Thai restaurants here. The service is, as in Thailand, very friendly and gracious.

Most Insulting Experience!! Will not go back!!!.
We had the most insulting experience. We will never go back again!
The staff chased us out on the parking because they were not sure if we've paid.
They kept us standing in the parking lot. After they verified receiving our payment, they give us no apology. The recent expansion must be gone over their head.

To Avoid.
Must have been in a country. "Other than Thailand." The Thais, do use jalepenos( if necessary ).They much prefer original Thai Peppers but will use whatever they have. After 18 months of living in Thailand, Marrying a Thai and eating Thai food for over 41 years, I think I know what Thai food should taste like. LoS has Authentic Thai food and is the best in Vegas. The next time you visit Thailand, you should watch the cook to see what is really put in the food. Kids today would say, "LoS RULES"

Worst Thai ever.
After eating excellent food in KOMON twice which is located in the same plaza made a HUGE MISTAKE of trying this one with my family and ate BAD thai food for the first time in my life, this place really need to be shut down.

Best Thai in Vegas.
Found this restaurant a couple of years ago. I go back twice a year when I am in Vegas for a trade show. Best Thai restaurant I have found so far for flavor of food and presentation. After about 6:30pm, reservations are almost a must.

worst thai place in vegas.
This place was absolutly horrible! Ruined my entire trip to Vegas. It smelled so bad in there like no one cleans anything and the people are so rude and slow! The owners daughter at the front treats people in the worst way and even bragged about how she rips people off and they dont notice! I almost got sick after I saw insects inside the place!! I would never go back here ever again and no one else should either!

Very disappointing and overpriced.
My husband and I were on our first trip alone, without our kids in three years. After reading several reviews on different sites I was really looking forward to eating at the Lotus of Siam. Ordered the stuffed chicken wings...I believe they were about $8-$9 for two wings that were overly breaded, not very tasty and the meat inside was quite tough. Had the crispy rice/sour sausage dish (also $8 I believe) which was highly recommended and was very disappointed. A small plate (looked like about a bowl of rice) came out with a few pieces of cabbage that was cut up. I thought it might be similar to something like the Chinese lettuce wraps when I looked at it, but it was quite spicy for a three and very, very salty. The last dish we had was the drunken sea bass on noodles. The noodles were overcooked, but the fish was good. The meal came to $40 which was a RIPOFF!! The only good things out of this meal was the fish and the beer my husband had. Not sure why the last reviewer was so impressed. No ambience and definitely not the best Thai in North America!! We came back and went to Sawasdee in Vancouver for a great Thai meal.

since my introduction to L A Thai in the 70's at House of Chan Dara, i have experienced only 1 better place: cafe d'Thai in Reno..
i love the spicy beef salad, the red curries, the huge prawns, the steamed fish and the desserts. service is fine, price and value are both outstanding. i wonder if some of the mixed reviews stem from the several prior owners/chefs that did business in the same location.
i love it!!
