I have been eating at this restaurant for the past 20 years and can honestly say that I have not found another restaurant in the United States that even comes close. My favorites are the pad-kee-mao, tom yum chicken, all of the curries, the house special omelet (TO DIE FOR), chicken chili mint, beef salad, and the chef's special. When you go, it is very worth it to bring a small group of friends so that you can sample a little of everything on the menu. SPECTACULAR!
They were professional and very accurate in their estimate.. We could not have been happier with the way ABC Quality Moverw handled our move. It was done with great care and without a problem. The packers showed up when they said they would and they were very friendly, courteous, and professional. Movers handled our belongings as if they were their own. The movers arrived at our home on time and did a very professional job of unloading and helping unpack the big items. We had no damages at all. This company is a group of true professionals and I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for good long distance movers. GREAT JOB!!!
Great Thai food.. Ate here with my family back to back and loved it, made a HUGE MISTAKE of going to Lotus of Siam in the same plaza third time.
Best thai I have ever had, REALLY. i couldn't say enough about this wonderful little Thai restaurant. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she loved this place. We weren't really looking for a vegetarian restaurant but found this one to be a gem in this overpriced town. The menu here is extensive (entres alone were 3 pages of the menu). i had a hard time making a decision because i knew whatever i ordered i would love. They have an equally impressive vegetarian menu. After spending $13 for a hamburger i was amazed that every menu item was less than $15. The portions are filling and our server caught every detail right on. This was a nice quiet atmosphere, small inside, older building but clean too. This place is easy to miss and not lit-up well. It is in a little strip mall type place off the main road (Sahara). However, there is no waiting for a table, and intimate customer service (just what we were looking for). I proudly recommend this restaurant to everyone. i am happy to support this family run business and will return every time i am here. [did i mention the food was awesome?!!!!]
Best thai restaurant..
Been in Vegas for over 11years. Met my now fiance 8 years ago. Took me to the Komol Restaurant for our 2nd date, and now for 8 years I'm still coming back for their Tom Ka and Panang. It's an amazingly delicious restaurant. I'm filipina and didn't eat much spicy then, but the way the flavor of the spices Komol puts in the food, makes it so good, not hot. And yes its all home made. We tried thai spice, and thai bbq, but the service and food flavor is just not the same.
I'm not a vegan, but their vegan menu is huge. In fact they have a separate menu for vegans. The restaurant is going through renevations soon, and now deliver. I can't wait to see the changes.
Stop by when ever your in town. You wont regret it.
Great Food, Wonderful Service.
I live in Las Vegas and this is truly an oasis for me. It's quality Thai food that is not pretentious and served by friendly waiters. I used to live in Austin TX and Dallas TX and travel to California often so I've had my share of Thai food. Komol tops my list of Thai restaurants.
I am a vegetarian and they have a wonderfully large and unique menu for vegetarians. They also have a larger menu for omnivores and our friends who eat meat love this place as much as we do.
I always start with the Mushroom Tom Yum or Tom Kha. They have great corn patties. The Pad Thai, Pad See Yew, Ginger Tofu, Red/Green curry, Panang curry etc are just divine. They also make a gorgeous homemade coconut ice cream (with jackfruit pieces) that I HAVE to have when I am there.
The prices are reasonable, the waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and they even serve organic wines. I would recommend this place to ANYONE who wants good Thai food.
Thai off-the-Strip hot spot goes from mild to wild, depending on your ability to handle the peppery fare..
In Short
The Commercial Center location is a bit out of the way for some visitors, and the decor is plain. However, locals and out-of-towners have all become regulars because of years of dependably tasty Thai offerings. Loads of vegetarian and meat dishes grace the extensive menu. Choose from pages of appetizers, soups, noodle and combo dishes or pick an entree like tofu panang or the boneless Angel duck, sauteed with snow peas, baby corn and carrots.
A hidden Gem in Las Vegas. I am fequent traveler to Vegas for tradeshows along with my staff and we always make effort to go here for the excellent food and friendly staff and to hide from exhibitors and attendees. They make the meal as you want mild to hot. Fabulous soups. Has become my favorite place in Vegas - no waiting, relaxing, parking right in front and excellent food. We have been patronizing them for 3 years about 6 times a year or better. Location is odd but worth the trouble. Staff is so accomodating- family owned and most appreciative of business patrons
Excellent.
The best Thai soup in Nevada and California...Mushroom Tom Kha.
Order it hot if you can handle it. Komols other dishes are also wonderful but after you eat this soup you'll end up with cravings for it.
The Best Thai.
This is the absolute best thai in town.
I have family from NY and Cal and they
say this competes as the best thai in
the country believe it or not.
Excellent choice for Thai....
