In Short
Perched on the hotel's 106th floor, this revolving restaurant draws tourists and locals for its magnificent view. The vista isn't the only selling point: Along with an award-winning wine list, the restaurant dishes up masterfully presented American cuisine. The meaty rack of lamb is served in a rich, garlicky curry sauce, while the pan-seared sea bass is flavored with zesty lemon truffle oil. For dessert, there's the warm banana tart with vanilla-bean ice cream and caramel.

The food is just ok for the price. You definitely are paying for the view. What scares me is the building itself I know I felt the thing rocking when I was up there. I will not go back.

Whenever we're looking at a new place to eat, like everyone we look at the sorroundings wait time price , etc, We found the Top of the World to be very nice inside, the view outside was spectacular, and the food however very pricey was excellent. The cuts of meat were perfect. And the seafood was out of the ocean that morning it seemed. We dont mind paying high prices for good food, and this was some of the best we'd ever had, and we've eaten at some very upscale resturants over the past 31 years together. Our meal at the Top of the World was an anniversary dinner, which we enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end.

I took a couple of friends that were here from Australia so we could do a sunset dinner. Other then the winter this would be a perfect place for it! Reservations start at 6:30pm. Food was great, and well presented. Not cheap, but for Vegas, not the most expensive! Everything is Al la carte, and the sides are big enough for 2 or 3! The only problem we had was from the manager, my friend has a severe allergy to wheat and the kitchen couldn't be sure if that was in his entree.... after talking to the manager we thought the issue was resolved... it wasn't, so we called her over again. At this time she was curt and not so happy to talk to us. Over all the view, food and service was great... it was just this last bit of having to deal w/the manager that tainted it a tad. Suggestion, make it very clear if there is a food allergy before you look at the menu and ask for suggestions.
