A low-key, friendly environment attracts plenty of families to this reliable chain. Kids in the big booths--often clutching free balloons and crayons--usually outnumber adults sitting at the bar. The menu offers filling American fare with no surprises, from mozzarella sticks and nachos to rollups and burgers. Entrees include steaks, fajitas and main dish salads. The calorie-conscious can select from a list of Weight Watchers-inspired dishes like mesquite chicken salad and grilled tilapia with mango salsa.

Everyone in your party would be pleased with the choices of food and GREAT taste. My husband and I had lunch at this Applebee's location last week. I like the three choices for the $10.99 lunch menu. You can mix and match 3 nice sized entrees from a good selection of choices. I chose the mini cheeseburgers, the mini chicken tenders sandwiches, and the artichoke dip. My husband had a steak and baked potato with Caesar salad. He chose his entree from a mix and match menu also. We enjoyed being able to customize our meal in this way. Our food was delicious and cooked just right. I especially enjoyed the artichoke dip served with fresh and yummy chips. I also enjoyed their strawberry limeade drink. The limeade was just the right combination of sweet/tart. This restaurant offered a great variety of food -- something for everyone.
