Best Sea Bass Ever!!. I was so tired wating long lines at the buffet, and this place was a big suprise!

The dish was so fresh and perfectly cooked.

Next day, I had a craving for the dish, but had to watch a show at Newyork Newyork. So I went to IL Fornaio(Italian reastaurant at NY) and orderd the Seabass; it was a wast of money. (IL Fornaio $28 Buzios $34)

Buzios' dish was much thinker, fresher and jucier then Il Fornaio.

After the Vegas trip, I have tried the same dish at numerous other restaurants in my hometown ,but couldn't find as good as Rio's. I really want to go back to Vegas only because of this dish!!

Same price with other buffet, but quaility, healty food.

P.S. The Clam chowder was really bad though.

Felt like I was in New England. I visited Buzio's with my boyfriend when we visited this past summer and I have been meaning to write about it ever since. Well, better late than never. The food at this restaurant was great, very fresh and without a need for "dressing up." The decor was ok...it felt like we were eating at a seafood restaurant in Maryland. If you go out to eat in Vegas for the decor and strive to be part of the see and be seen crowd, this may not be the place for you, but if you are mainly interested in eating at a good seafood restaurant, this is the place to go.

2 Visits, 2 Different Results. On our first visit on our recent trip we each ordered the lobster vichyssoise which was deficient in lobster, taste and temperature. Our entrees were a decided improvement with my wife ordering a delicious potato and wasabi coated ahi tuna done medium rare as requested. My corn husk roasted Alaskan halibut was beautifully prepared and the corn husk imparted a wonderful flavor to the mild halibut.

On our return the following week we shared the lump crab cakes (2) appetizer which was surprsingly flavorless - perhaps pasturized crab was used. We eah chose the combination pan roast entree listed as a Buzios Signature Dish - shrimp, king crab and oysters in a cream style stew. We have had this same dish countless times at more than a half-dozen different places in Las Vegas and hands down this was the worst. An odd flavor and a real shortage of seafood characterized this dish.

Off-Strip casino restaurant offers fresh seafood and oyster bar as well as pool views.. In Short
The clattering casino outside sets the scene for this lively eatery. Solo diners slurp cioppino at the front counter, while larger parties sit in the main dining area in wood booths, and couples sit at window-side tables with views of the Rio's shimmering pool. Meals may start with oysters Rockefeller--six tender oysters topped with lightly creamed spinach and rich Gruyere gratin--and continue with the renowned seafood bouillabaisse. There's also grilled king salmon and New York steak.
