I Have Had Great Service since 08/2006. When I moved into a new house we discovered a problem, we had a wasps nest and I had two small children. The Swat Bug Killers Truck just happened to be servicing a neighbor so I went and talked to the guy. He couldn’t service us right then because he had a route, but gave us the number for the office.

I called several other pest control companies, many were not even willing come deal with a wasp nest others wanted to charge me $300 to take care of the problem. Having just paid a bunch of moving expenses I didn’t have an extra $300 to take care of this. I called Swat, they could take care of it for no extra charge with their program. The deal was they come out every 3 months for a cost of about $56 if I had problems in between visits, they would come out again free of charge. The one bad thing was I had to wait two days for them to get to me, so I just kept my kids out of the yard and was extra vigilant.

Sounded good to me so I signed up and felt I had great service. The techs were polite and professional and if I was having issues with ants or spiders they would take care of it. I had to call them out several times between the three month visits because of seasonal ant, fly or spider issues, and it was never a problem, they came out promptly and addressed whatever was going on. In the summer months in my neighborhood there would be roaches on the sidewalks and all over the place, but they would spray my walk ways so even though my neighborhood had a problem, my house and walkways did not.

When looking up their number for a friend I came across these reviews and was shocked because what these people are describing is nothing like the experience I have had with this company. I don’t know what the gripe is that these people have, but I felt that with the experience I have had the right thing to do is to post a review.

Very Interesting Review by Yuppy. I had a similar experience with the customer service from SWAT. I cancelled service, and demanded a refund. The problem was out of control! I see Bulwork trucks in my neighborhood ALL THE TIME. Thanks for the referral, I will check them out

Commissions depend on who pays on their route.. My husband use to work for that company. Just to let you know, they ask for the payment right then and there because the technicians get paid on what the actually collect on. So if the do 300 that day and only get paid on 200, then they only get commission on the 200. They also preset you and go by when they want you to have service no when you want to have the service performed!

responce to yuppie31. it is not swat's policy to be rude to a customer,swat has been in business since 1982 and growing every year must be doing something right. as far as collecting money up front swat will do that if there is a bad service history or a bad paying customer thats been turned into collections, my guess thats what was the case with yuppie31. i don't know who this customer is if i had a message to return someones call i would have. and if yuppie31 changed to another pest company as she stated to bulwark pest control good for them. as i get 3-4 calls a week from bulwarks employes looking for a better job.

GREAT SERVICE. I HAVE BEEN WITH SWAT OVER 11 YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK & THE ROUTE TECHS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO FIND THE PROBLEM & FIX IT. I HAVE THE SAME TECH THAT I HAD WHEN I FIRST SIGNED UP WITH SWAT. ALL OF THE OFFICE HELP ARE VERY FRIENDLY. IF I HAVE A PROBLEM THEY WILL SEND MY TECH OUT ASAP AT NO CHARGE. AS FAR AS ANY ONE BEING RUDE OR MAKING ME PAY IN ADVANCE FOR SERVICE HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN ALL THE TIME THAT I HAVE BEEN WITH THE COMPANY. I RECOMMEND SWAT TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. AS FAR AS I KNOW NONE OF THEM HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH SWAT. I HAVE PRESET SERVICE DAY & TIME. THEY ALWAYS CALL ME THE DAY BEFORE TO REMIND ME OF SERVICE & IF I CAN NOT DO IT THAT DAY THEY PUT IT ON FOR WHEN I AM GOING TO BE HOME OR I JUST HAVE THEM DO THE OUTSIDE & LEAVE MY BILL SO I CAN SEND IN THE PAYMENT. SAME WITH MY NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE SWAT.
