press 1 for english – i was woke up to a fast talking spanish speaking person named sergio asking for my social security number!! and i made him repeat 3 times cuz i couldnt understand him. i asked what this was about and he said he would be breaking federal law. i told him he already did with what he asked me and hung up!! then i called the number back and not even the automated voice spoke english!!! wtf!!! how do these people have my info and i cant understand any of them!!?????
I FEEL THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS ! – I WAS SENT A LETTER THAT SAID I NEED TO PAY $65.02 FOR A BAD CHECK IN 2008. THIS IS NOT ON MY CREDIT REPORT. I ASKED FOR A COPY OF CHECK BENG IT'S ALMOST 2012 AND THAT JERK CHRIS HAUG UP PHONE. I'M NOT SENDING ANY MONEY UNTILL I SEE PROFF OF BAD CHECK.
bunch of MORONS – I've called them at least 6 times since October, 2008. I have faxed them 3 times for proof of payment of a medical bill that was paid before it even went into collections. Most of them were very rude!! It is still on my credit report. I have disputed it a number of times, and it is still on there. When I call, they say I don't owe it, but for some reason, say I do when it's time to dispute it. VERY unprofessional people with no clue about what they are doing.
Scammers! Stupid ones at that! – They just sent me a bill. They said they were charges against me, for not paying PNM.
I don't even USE PNM. What a bunch of thieving idiots!
Unprofessional and liars – Unprofessional:
1. Would not send a bill!!!!
Easily tells you that they are scamming you. Even Palisades collections will send a bill and they are ruthless.
2. Would not tell me the address to send my written correspondence, was pushy, and I just started lashing out at the lady. Felt good. Just went on their website and sending my dispute. DISPUTE EVERYTHING WITH THEM.
3. I called them, was on hold for 5 minutes, hung up. 3 minutes later I received a call, and the rep told me that she was returning my call, but never identified herself as calling from a collection agency, which violates the law. Some people have said to have received voice mails asking them to contact their company, without identifying themselves as collections, or the purpose and nature of the communication. big no no.
1. Stated that if the debt was sold to them or passed to them, it was therefore valid, fully ignoring all Federal and State regulations associated with legal recognition of debt. Instead I would be victim to their version of a Kangaroo court. I told the rep that they are lying to the wrong person, and explained that within accordance of Federal and State regulations, you must provide proof of the debt and if you cannot, I will have to take legal action.
They must provide proof of a contact/agreement you made with a lender or company. must provide copies of correspondence and so on. I have the letter for you to send that has saved me and my wife from collectors. It requests so much information, if you are 5k in the hole, and the debt has moved between companies, they probably lost proof of the debt. It costs alot of money to mine information, especially original copies. I can help. we can make a bet their their accounting systems are utter jokes. Never fear, Ask me samjams001@yahoo. not polite – Hello I just spoke to a person at the Aargon agency , she would not let me explain myself, I could not get a word in edge wise.
Very unethical bunch! – These guys are slugs. They'll rake you coming and going. Avoid the hassle and look elsewhere. What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas with these guys.
Nice People – I had a Hospital bill that was paid by insurance I gave Aargon the information and the same day they closed my account and gave me a letter to confirming it.
Thats Aargon for taking care of me.
Horrible Service – I called in to make a payment and they did not even want me to pay! All I needed is for them to send me a bill so that I can pay and they would not even send a bill! The person I spoke to was unprofessional, offensive, and threatened me that he would hang up. If they wanted me to pay, all they had to do was send a bill but they would not and did not want to talk. He would not let me ask any questions and said "im the one asking the questions." I ended up having to call their client and take up their client's time to make the payment. Aargon did not help.
