A well done effort at ethnic commercialism..
In Short
This is not the Chinatown most tourists would expect. This is, at its heart, a block-sized shopping mall: a commercial effort by Las Vegas to cater to the ever-increasing Asian tourism trade. Visitors enter the area under a Chinese gateway leading to a two-story strip mall. However, the tenants lend to the cultural experience. Authentic Asian furniture, herbalists, books and art are found, as well as markets stocking live seafood and fresh meats.
