terrible and way over priced
by rosebud500 at Citysearch
Went in for a late dinner and order two items crab with ginger and scallions and spicy salt squid. The crab tased like it had been dead for days and the squid had very little flavor almost like it was just dredged in flour. Both me and my date had hot tea and water and the bill was $31.00 without the tip. I will never go back it was terrible.
- Pros: none
- Cons: over priced

Good food that is worth going to Las Vegas for
by Angelica3 at Citysearch
I was planing to vist Las Vegas with my extended family (total of 5 of us) and I heard about this place on food network. When we all got in from Detroit, we took an extended cab ride to the place and found that the parking lot was empty! That was not a good sign! But in this case that sign was wrong. The food is delicious !!! We ordered a family meal and we had enough to take back to the hotel after we had eaten our fill. The hot and sour soup was wonderful it had wonderful balance. Two of my family have been to China and they said that the only better was found there. The place started to fill up as we were leaving... I guess we are not like the 24hour vibe that is found in Vegas. The only thing that I DID NOT LIKE was that the food was not cheap. I hope that when I come back to Vegas ... moving there in a few years that they are still there and a little less expensive.
- Pros: Much on the menu to choose from. Very innovative food. Couldn't get enough Lemon Chicken
- Cons: Very expensive in a city of cheaper (but good) choices,
Joyful Joyful

Joyful House is my most favorable restaurant in Las Vegas. Their salt & pepper lobster are the best seafood dish that I have tried in town. It was so crispy & the taste was so good that I can't stop until the last bite. Their waiter are very helpful & friendly to me & my family. Their fine wine list also impress me so much, I think no where in town can compare with their incredible price. I went to this restaurant since I moved to Las Vegas in 2001, I love this restaurant because they can always maintain a very good service & food quality, I never been disappointed over there. Joyful, keep it up!!

I recently visited joyful house and the food was not anything special, I liked the quickness of the service and the hours of operation are great. The restaurant does not look nice inside or out so don't expect first class. You can get the same quality food from China Joes anywhere in town. I would not really reccond it to anyone.
- Pros: Quick service
- Cons: price, food
