Tips for Kapit Bahay Filipino Fastfood

Kapit Bahay Filipino Fastfood rudeness. Owners/servers of Kapit Bahay Las Vegas Chinatown are rude. 3 of us bought 2 vegetable eggrolls and 2 banana eggrolls and when we ask for napkins, the "husband/server" looked at us like "What you want napkins?" and gave us 3 napkins. No thank you's like you would get from American restaurants. While I was waiting for the vegetable eggrolls, the "wife/server" ask me if I want vinegar and when I said no, this is what she said, "Don't think that I pour the vinegar on your eggroll, it comes separate in a container." First of all, I don't like vinegar, period. Why the insult? Since the 3 of us are going to LA in separate vehicles, I ask for another plastic bag for myself and the "wife/server" had a frown on her face and sort of "flung" the bag to me without saying anything. For $2.00, their vegetable eggrolls taste like paper and their $1.50 banana eggrolls are so sweet you can't find the bananas. Most Filipinos are nice or try to be nice but this dive is something I wouldn't patronize again.

Simply Great!. Food is great !!! The employee is friendly and helpful. It is simple to comprehend that, if you dont like the food then just simply don't eat at all. Don't even bother to try.

Horrible.....!!! I know filipino food and this ain't it!!!. This is some of the worst filipino food I have every had. Iam from Hawaii and it is hard to find any really good filipino food here!!! Its like the filipinos here don't know how to cook....!!! The food has no taste and most of the time does not even look like what it should. Kapit Bahay, Pinoy Pinay, and Goldilocks are all horrible

I did find one pretty good restaurant and I didnt see it on the list so I'll tell here that its good. Its Fiesta Filipina Cuisine on the corner of DI and Jones. Their Lechon is bomb, and so is their turno(BBQ) Chix or Pork Kabobs.

Love it. This place is pretty bomb and pretty inexpensive. I never really had Filipino food before I tried it here for the first time. I've since been to a few other restaurants. There are about 4 or 5 items that are just out of sight with tastiness.

Avoid Saturdays and Sundays. I've been eating at two fast food restaurants. One of them being, Kapit Bahay. The Menu choices change

once in a while, and the food is alright, if you like homecooking. I like only going here to buy the Gulaman drink in the summer time, and maybe getting a snack. The customer service is kind of slow paced back, though.

sarap! But room for improvement.... The food is good and there seems to be a decent variety. The service isn't as bad as some other reviewers mentioned, but it might help the workers behind the counter spoke up just a bit more when talking to the customers-especially to non-tagalog speaking customers. Would love to see this little restaurant expand so it can more evenly compete with Pinoy-Pinay which is larger in square footage (can accomodate more customers) and variety (because they accomodate more customers). Oh yeah, and turn that TV back on-I love watching the Filipino game shows!
