Terrible service, excellent food.
The service is absolutely terrible. Normally I'd give it a low score just for that, but you don't go to eat authentic chinese food and expect non-authentic chinese service!
The food there is excellent! I've eaten my share of Chinese food, and I gotta say Food Express has some of the best Chinese food in the area. Of course, it doesn't compare to the Chinese food I've had in Los Angeles or in Asia, but for Las Vegas you can't go wrong!
I give it a -1 star for the bad service, but otherwise I love the place. Have been going there for years now. Highly recommended for the Vegas foodies out there that care more about food than service.
Don't let the name scare you. Neither the name, location in front of the Fantastic Swap Meet nor physical appearance would suggest fine dining, but fine dining is what we enjoyed. Unlike many Asian restaurants, service was both cheerful and attentive. We shared orders of sauteed shrimp coated with mayonnaise with honey walnuts, Singapore rice noodles and pea leaves with garlic. The latter was not on the menu and relatively expensive at $11, but delicious as was the remainder of the meal.
best chinese food in vegas. they have the best chinese food in las vegas. now that I said that the wait staff is rude and unattentive but they are chinese and that is the way they are they grew up in a comunist country and out of all asains chinese are the least friendly. but they have incredible food salt and pepper sea bass and salt and pepper crab is to die for.
Great Food. My man and I went here for a Valentines Day lunch. The food was great and we can't wait to go back, but the service was horrible. We were seated promptly, but it wasn't customer friendly at all. We loved the food though.
Great Food with reasonable prices, dinner time can be noisy & busy.. The food is great, you get served quickly, and its always served HOT. The variety is good too. Some think customer service may seem below average but I don't think so. It's worth the food.
Best Of Both Worlds -- Average Time. While its not the most fancy Chinese feast, its certainly one of the most authentic in the area. Some of the Chinatown Vegas area parts are probably better, but this is one of the better ones in the city.
