What People Are Saying About Omelet House

In Short – One of the city's best spots for breakfast, this is a classic diner complete with dark, wood-paneled decor straight out of the '70s. The dim, amber lighting is particularly hospitable to those who over-imbibed the night before. It's also conducive to convivial conversation across eggs and spuds, making it a great place to meet friends on the weekend for brunch. Forty-odd specialty omelettes fill out the menu.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- The under-10 crowd can order from a menu with portions big enough for adults for less than $5.
Horrible Experience

A few collegues and I went to the Omelet House for lunch. We decided since their portions are huge to share a salad. Some members of our group had appetizers, soup, and sandwhiches. After I paid the bill one of our group noticed a hair in her salad, the waitress came over and immediately noticed it as well. She kept the change and left our table. Returning to our table was a poorly dressed man with the plate in his hand. He immediately started to accuse the person of eating the salad and then "found" the hair. He was very rude in his manner and approach, he identified himself as the owner. She immediately stopped him and informed him that we were not looking for a "free" meal in fact we had already paid the bill. We wanted to ensure that all health codes were followed and maybe he should check the kitchen employees for hairnets. He again became loud and abrasive and left our table. The poor waitress was mortified and apologized profusely for her boss. It is unfortunate that he could single handedly ruin our experience. He obviously has no business in the service industry nor does he posess any professional customer service skills.
- Cons: Rude Owner
The Best Breakfast , Felt like Home

My friend and I had just finished a long weekend as Medics for the baker to Vegas Relay, and had heard mention of The Omelet House. What an awesome surprise. Great down home cooking, the hostess made us feel as if we were really special. She has worked there for 17 years! Our food was hot, beautifully cooked, and perfectly seasoned. I would recomend this place to everyone! All personel seemed intent on making sure we were happy AND the other guests chimed in with their favorites and helpful lhints for ordering..
- Pros: We were welcomed with open arms and felt right at home.
- Cons: None, they accomodate your every wish
LOTS of food!

My friends and I ate here after I found it on city search, and we loved it. Our one suggestion would be to share a meal!...With the HUGE omelets AND pumpkin bread it was a lot for one person---so maybe order one meal and an extra order of pumpkin bread:) Also, they are very open to you adding or taking things away from one of their pre-made omelets, so that's nice!
One of the best breakfast places in sin city

I have been eating at this place for over 10 years and they have NEVER not once let me down my wife and i go in there at least once every 2 weeks, Great omelettes and service and the pumplin bread is the best i have ever had great prices and good service very "hole in the wall" type feeling very small and family run the location at Lakemead and Rampart has closed which made me unhappy because that one was very close to my house but we still make the trip down there every couple weeks. I would recommend it to anyone just make sure to be hungry
- Pros: Great food good portions good prices
- Cons: service will get a little slow if they are packed
