Side Dishes Galore!. I came here to start off my bachlorette party and had a blast doing beer and soju drinks. We asked them to cook the meat in the back so we didn't smell like beef the whole night which was a great suggestion for us thanks Desiree!

We ordered two hot soups and two bbq meat dishes between 4 people, and we had plenty to go around. We almost couldn't go out dancing afterwards!

A great night started here and the gum at the end of the meal helped with the pickled cabbage breath! :D

Awesome Lunch Special. I work across the street and after having one too many in-n-out burgers three coworkers and I stopped by Shilla for a diversion from the norm. I ordered the chicken teriyaki as did one friend, and the other two had salmon teriyaki and the kalbi lunch specials. I really enjoyed how neat and everything was presented... it sort of made it feel like a special occasion. So basically for less than 10 bucks each we had a really tasty yet light meal and made a ritual out of it about every two weeks. I noticed the little items change every now and then so it must be that the chef cooks what produce and stuff is freshest rather than just having the standards.... All in all what a great little spot off the beaten path.

Korean Night Out Delicious!. The tofu dish we had was really tasty as was the side dishes of pickled vegetables... quite a bit more than I expected! and the staff helped us order since we were not too familiar with Korean food. All in all a treat for myself and my vegetarian friend.

Overpriced korean food. This was my first time at this restaurant and I have say the food was good but way overpriced for what they give you. For instance the kalbi(marinated steak) they expect you to pay $25 per person if you wanted to BBQ at the table. So you have to spend at LEAST $50! The service was bad too. We went at lunch time which was real slow. There was one other couple there besides me and my friend and I'd had to get up a couple times to tell my waitress what I needed. The other couple across from us ended up having to get up to pay for the bill because they were tired of waiting. They could've dined and dashed if they wanted too. Ridiculous. The decor wasn't spectacular once you get into the dining area so I wondered what they were doing with all of the overpriced money they were making? I'm korean and coming from korea town in LA I was sadly disappointed. I won't be going back.

Bad Customer Service. My family and I went to this Korean restaurant based on the good reviews we read on the Internet. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with all of the positive reviews about this restaurant. The food was way overpriced (compared to another Korean restaurant in Las Vegas we have eaten at) and the quality was just average. What really disappointed me was the service, or lack thereof. It seemed like the server attended more to other customers in the restaurant than to us. Additionally, she never came by to refill our drinks or ask us if we needed anything (more kimchee and rice during the meal would have been nice.) I usually don't mind paying a little more for a meal if the service and food are exceptional, but in this case I feel like I was ripped off. Especially since we had been craving Korean food all week and were looking forward to the experience. It just fell way short of our expectations. So, if you are in Las Vegas (either a local or out-of-towner) and want Korean food, DO NOT eat here.

Korean food and self-grilling make for an interesting night out.. In Short
Shilla is primarily a Korean barbecue restaurant with a few Japanese dishes thrown in. For newcomers to Korean food, the routine is simple: patrons choose the meats, which are then brought out raw for the customers to do some cooking on grills set into the tables. Despite the relative simplicity of Korean cuisine, the menu presents barriers to non-Korean diners. It is extensive but poorly fleshed out, with some items listing only one ingredient.

What is in the sauce?. The marinated meats, beef, chicken or pork, for the Korean bbq is absolutely delicious. This place isn't just about meat, the assortment of vegetable side dishes is just enough to counterbalance the lavish bbq right on your own table. I'd definitely give this a try... great food at decent prices.
