A & R Appliance – I desperately wish I could write a good review for this company. Sadly, it is a sad, sad, sad state of repairs when your warranty company makes you use this company. Because of this I will even be cancelling my warranty company, Choice. After over two months they still have not assigned this to a more efficient organization. Worst is the constant, "We'll call you right back," or "We'll should hear Monday and will call you right away, " weeks on end of this with your never receiving a call from them. I missed both Christmas and New Years with my family because they indicated they would be there to do the repairs every day, but they never came. It is now February.
Another loser! – This is the second repair company authorized by Lowe's to fix my cook top. They were suppose to come on a Saturday afternoon between noon and six. I got a call from Dana saying the truck broke down and they reassigned me to the following Tuesday, same times. I got another call early Tuesday morning saying that because of the bad weather on Monday, they are behind schedule and now they want to come Friday, same times. It is over a week that I have been trying to get my cooktop burner fixed using my extended warranty and after reading the reviews for A&R, I am convinced that Lowe's has a list of bad and unreliable contractor/repairmen doing their warranty work. I probably will end up calling a certified Kitchenaid repairman, paying for it myself and never buying another appliance at Lowe's. My goal is to have the cook top burner fixed by mid October if I am lucky!
Not happy at all! – A few weeks ago, my oven burners stopped working. Only one of them would light. We are renters, so I called my property manager, and he put us in touch with A & R Appliance. We set up an appointment for a Thursday between 12-5pm. At 3pm, I called to confirm the appointment, to make sure someone was still going to come, and was told that someone would for sure be here. Well, the repair man did not come and no one called to cancel. Needless to say, I was a little upset. I called the next morning, and was told that there was a mix up between the appointments in the computer, and the repairman's run sheet. Somehow we didn't get put on the run sheet, so the repairman didn't know to come to the house.
We made another appointment for the following Thursday. Our time frame was between 8-12. At 1030 they called me to tell me that they would need to reschedule because the wrong part was shipped. I didn't then, and still don't understand how you can make an appointment to fix something without making sure you have the correct parts. I also didn't understand how I had to sit around waiting for them to show up for 2 1/2 hrs before they called to reschedule. During this time, I didn't feel that the customer service girls I spoke with were sympathetic at all. The one girl basically told me, that she didn't deal with parts, so she had no idea what happened and referred me to the manager. She was very rude. When I spoke with the manager (over 3 hrs later) I felt she was rude, and not at all sympathetic to the fact that I was upset.
Yet again, we were rescheduled for the following Friday between 8-12. Thursday morning a repairman calls me and tells me that the parts still weren't in so I should call to try to reschedule for Friday. I explained to him that I already had an appointment for Friday. He told me he had me down for that afternoon (Thursday). He explained that the parts could still come in because there was another shipment at 2pm. Once again, I called the office, and was told that the manager would call me back. She never did. I contacted her later that day, and she did confirm that the parts had come in and that someone would be out the next day.
Thankfully the repairman did come. He was very nice, and very quick! He was here for all of 15 minutes. He even gave me some pointers on how to get the hard water residue to stay off my pots and pans in the dishwasher.
Even though my stove eventually got fixed, I was very unhappy with the way A&R appliance does business and with how they treat their customers. My fingers are crossed that none of our other appliances break down, but if they do, I'll definitely tell my property manager that I refuse to use this company again.
the worst customer service – i was refered by a great company to a & r. when we got there we were greeted by the worst cust secv person i have ever met. she was rude pissy and if my hair was on fire &she had the only cup of water on earth and i had to buy a washer from her to get that cup of water i would let my head burn off i would give her a minus 100 rating if i could
Satisfied customer – I was assigned A & R through a warranty company and was a little nervous about them after reading the existing reviews. John came out to repair my refrigerator and was wonderful. My experience with this company was excellant. He even came out on Christmas Eve to replace a defective part. Cheers to John!
Worst Appliance Repair in Vegas Bar None!! – I ordered a cooktop over three months ago for which they were reimbursed by Jenn-Aire. They still have not completed the job nor have they ever called to tell me WHEN it would be completed! Repeated calls to the company go unanswered. No one ever picks up the phone nor are calls returned. I can't believe they are still in business!! This is no way to run a business and I can't believe Jenn-Aire refers customers to them! I can only imagine how many other disgruntled customers they have had that didn't have the time or wherewithal to write an online review. Hands down, WORST appliance company in Vegas. Period. I will be letting Jenn-Aire know that they took their money and did not render services. Unbelievable.
THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL LOSERS ON THE PLANET – Called to set up an appt. to repair a fridge under factory warranty. On hold for 10 mins. No apologies for waiting. Woman talked at me like a sailor. Gave a 4 hour window between 12 and 4. No cust serv call to confirm the appt. Called at 2:30 to confirm he was coming. No return call. Called again at 3:30 to confirm. She didn't know her head from her ass. Tells me, "Sure". Called at 4:45 (45 mins after the app.). Tells me he will be another hour. Asked why she couldn't call to tell me. Says, "We don't do that". After asking why no customer service tactics are applied to this appt, her reply was, "Oh well, so what". I stated that I would file a complaint with Fridgedaire, her reply was, "So What, who cares, please go ahead and do that". No consideration for a customer. Talks to their clients with no professionalism. We as consumers need to pass the word about disrepectful inconsiderate blowhards like these idiots. I have to give 1 star because you are not allowed to give 0 stars.
