Larkin Plumbing & Heating

RUN!!!. I would give Larkin zero stars if I could. I called Larkin at 4:15 pm today (Saturday). I was told a technician would come within 2 hours. I waited for 4 hours before I called (8:15 pm) asking if they were still coming, and if so, what the ETA was. I was told that I would be called back within 15 minutes once that person got a hold of the technician. That person wouldn't give me their name, but took my address as someone was on their way. I waited another hour (9:15) before I called again, and got voicemail. I am so pissed right now. Not only did they waste over 7 hours of my time, they did not call me back, and I still have a plumbing problem that could well be fixed by now had I called someone else. Now I am calling other plumbers at 11:15 at night, and now it's in the 'emergency hours' that constitute extra charges.…

Good Plumbers. It wasn't a huge disaster but my toilet was leaking onto our floor. larkin looked like a little more money but i figured if they can charge a couple dollars more and still be the only people in the valley with enough workers to fix my minor problem the same afternoon then I will go with them.

Pros: They got the job done

Cons: My wife is more impressed with Bob the Plumber than she is with me…

They know everything. I've been using Larkin Plumbing for years. They know just about everything. The last visit I made I brought in a junky rotted piece from my sink and asked them for a replacement. I had already gone to Home Depot, Wal-Mart(??), and Lowes, and none of them knew at all what to do. Its like they just got done with their shift from the Sizzler and suddenly they became a plumber. They told me to just buy a new sink. A mexican guy in Larkin plumbing didn't know what the piece was, because it was a random part of my faucet, but then went and asked two older guys, supervisors?. The supervisors guessed but I didn't want to have made the trip twice to return the part so they went into the big office and asked that guy. In the end we found the $8 part for my old house versus buying a whole new system

I don't know how they figured all that out from my rotten old part I showed them…

Saved my Life. I woke up on Christmas Eve with my water heater all over the floor. I was told that Larkin Plumbing is open every day of the year and never charge you any different no matter what time of day or even on holidays so I called and they came as soon as they could fixed my water heater and I was up and running right after that. Best Christmas gift ever. I will never use anyone again!…
