Great Steak. A bit pricy, but the steak is so worth it. We talked to a manager in the casino and he recommended it. Elevator to the top floor, and they already knew we were coming. Treated us like high rollers, plus, their food was amazing. Couldn't eat it all. So wonderful!

Bad night at Binion's. I always wanted to check out Binion's because of its interesting history and Old Vegas feel. SO we went there on a Saturday night. I never got my cocktail, after sitting 45 minutes at a slot, so we went to the bar to order. Once there the bartender gives us our drinks and then promptly starts an argument over whether I gave him a twenty or a ten to pay. Since I had just gone to the ATM, I knew I was correct! He would not pay us the change we were owed until we complained. Ridiculous. Just another bitter Vegas local that makes living in this city feel like you are constantly being scammed. We gave up on the casino and decided to try dinner at the coffee shop. They had a prime rib special for $9.95 that came with salad, bread, potato and veggie. The food was pretty bad. The rolls were pasty white Wondder-bread style, the carrots were slathered in butter and overcooked. The meat was undercooked and the coffee was incredibly bitter. Our waiter was a zombie who never said a word, just kind of grunted and smoked cigarettes in the back. The busers were angry and sullen. Even the cashier was rude when I paid. Maybe if I had gotten better service at the bar I would have been in a mood/happy drunken state to think the food was kitchsy-not just subpar, but the whole night left me depressed.

Horsehoe = Great Breakfast. Binions Coffee Shop served up one of the best breakfast's I had in Vegas and at a decent price. The dining room is understated and elegant, a quiet atmosphere to relax in. And the wait staff were friendly and professional.

Binions offers a full breakfast menu...omelets, pancakes, chicken fried steak, biscuits & gravy, etc. all within a decent price range.

I had one of the two breakfast specials (2 eggs, potatoes and toast, with ham, bacon or sausage WITH coffee for 4.99). The food quality was very good. I added a shortstack of pancakes for $3.49, which turned out to be too much food for me.

Binions coffee shop is a hidden treasure (quite literally, it's way in the back, and downstairs) but worth the effort.
