Outstanding!.
1) Food quality: Extremely good - steaks were tender and juicy
2) Ambiance: Unexpectedly victorian. Expected asian theming but was pleasantly surprised to find linen tablecloths - elegant room.
3) Service: Impeccable. Two waiters and a busser in each section.
4) Value: Slightly lower rating here only because chinese food lacked pizazz. Although chinese dishes were top quality and excellent flavor, there is room for improvement in the presentation. The steaks were top shelf and a bargain.
The MaitreD here was gracious and polite. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. We had filet mignon, Rib Eye steak and two chinese dishes. I found the filet to be on par with the finest steakhouses in NY and Chicago. I'd go as far as to say this was the best filet in Vegas. The rib eye was huge at 28 oz. The chinese was very good as well.
Just Basic Chinese food. This place was recommended as the "best chinese food in Vegas". I should have thought twice and considered the source. Lillie is a steakhouse & chinese restaurant in an elegant and expensive atmosphere. My friends aren't big chinese food eaters so we stuck to the basics. Beef & brocolli, sweet & sour pork, almond chichen, rice & sweet and sour soup. Nothing real fancy tonight. The food was just okay, kinda bland actually. This kinda made me recall the days before the fast food chinese places were around. Although the meat they used was good quality, no grizzle or fat. Service was very good. The place was crowded with most people eating "american" food. I shouldn't known better.... avg cost for us drinks, tip & food was $35.00 per person.
