Editorial Review for The Attic Las Vegas – by Anne Sneddon
In Short
The self-declared "largest vintage store in the world" sells a dizzying array of clothing, decor and other items. Glass cases are jammed with trinkets, racks overflow with retro wear and wacky mannequins mark the different sections. Customers shop for '60s and '70s glamorous, glittery rave outfits, as well as fun fur furniture in just about every shape imaginable. Accessories like jewelry, wigs, shoes and other knickknacks abound.

The Attic has been treating me right for five years. Myra, Sophie, Angel and the guy who has been their tailor for the past four years have all gone out of their way to accomodate my needs. I'm not into buying vintage furniture or clothing so I can only speak of the merchandise on the first floor which features the Attic's own brand of Custom clothing, Club Wear and Trendy fashion. If the item you like isn't in your size no worries! Their on site tailor will custom make one for you in a few days. If it's not ready when you leave they will mail it to you and it will arrive on time. Got a picture of a killer outfit? Take it with you and they will bend over backwards to make your dream dress come true. I travel to Vegas from San Diego just to shop there. What? No tailors in San Diego? Yes many and I've tried several but none come even remotely close to doing what the Attic does for me in terms of price, quality, style and service. They get an A plus in my book. Don't let the $1.00 entry fee scare you off, go in pay the buck and revel in the coolest clothes in town. You won't be sorry
Pros: Great service and prices
Cons: Uneven part of town. Whats new, welcome to Las Vegas!

I am not sure what was worse about this place the prices or the staff. They do have some nifty vintage furniture in run of the mill condition and I don't think that any of the items in there would be considered "one of a kind" although the prices sure are. The staff was not helpful or attentive in any way. They just stood behind the counter and read a magazine. They have a good selection of clothing compared to other "antique or vintage" stores in Las Vegas. Although if you compare them to San Fransico or LA you will be very disappointed. The entrance fee is meant to keep out the degenerates and bums, and they refund your money with a purchase of $5 or more. All in all the store is just okay. I would not go out of your way tho visit this store.
Pros: Some interesting clothing
Cons: Staff, prices, parking and not open sundays
