Just Awesome. No cover (you get 2 drinks) and lots of great ladies to have fun with. I got a dance from a 7 (out of 10). We went to the VIP room and spent a good hour in there. The staff and bouncers were cool. I had a blast and with summer coming up I will be going back for sure!
Fun time. I went in with my wife the other night and we had a blast. The women weren't too pushy at all. They were nice and friendly. We paid for the dance up front (which is a key). You shouldn't pay for a dance after it happens. That is where the trouble can begin. We stayed for a couple hours and enjoyed the ladies and their company. We WILL be back, regardless of what the other folks say.
Not a Good Experience - Beware!!!!. Nasty and the women are just as bad. The wife and I decided to stop in last night. We had two women come over to our seat. They seemed to be working together. I say this because I could not understand one of them and the other seemed to be calling the shots. The next thing I know is that they were telling us that we owed them $100 each. Remind you we never left our seats. They began to claim that they each danced 3 song for us (must have been very short songs). What a joke. Be careful if you decide to visit. By the way, they got $100 for the both of them to split even though they were wanting more. I should have just paid the wife to dance. At least it would have been worth it. This place is a Joke and we'll not be going back. I'll continue to share our story. A joke and shady....
Madness in March.
I am not sure what the people below have a problem with. THis place is great. The staff is super friendly and the girls are really nice.
We wandered in a couple weeks ago after watching some basketball over at the Plaza. We had no problem getting in and being sat right at the front.
The waitress was on with our drinks and in no time we were off and running.
Dollars galore for the ladies and lap dances for my friends. All in all it was a fun time.
It is refreshing to have a strip club downtown a few blocks from your hotel. Long live glitter gulch!
It has it's pluses and minuses.
Plus - good drinks and you don't pay cover. You do pay for two drinks and that is better than most places.
Minus- can get busy and sometimes you don't get the best seat in the house.
Plus - nice looking girls and I have never left un-happy
Minus - You have to come early to get the best looking ladies.
Plus - it is in the NEW downtown and fun to visit.
Minus - Leaving at 3am could get you in trouble with your wife ;-)
Overall there are worse places in town. For a fun night out with guys this is a great place.
Girls of Glitter Gulch a NIGHTMARE!!! BEWARE!!!. There are too many words to explain the TERRIBLE experience I received while visiting this DISGUSTING, DEPLORABLE, SCAM-ARTISTRY, RIPOFF of a night club. Within two minutes of sitting down (and ordering the mandatory 2 drinks) a very unattractive "woman" sat down beside me and said lets go sit down at a booth and talk. Having being seated directly at the loud, busy, dance table area, a move to a more quiet, comfortable position sounded inviting, and just what I needed. Little did I know this was the beginning of HELL. This "woman" (Susan I believe; a Hawaiian/Canadian/Bi-Polar/Crook) began dancing on top of me. Within a minute another woman came and began doing the same. This is where the scam begins. Having danced maybe a total of 4 minutes, the two of them began to say I owed them money. I NEVER agreed for them to dance in the first place, and never did I agree on a particular price. Feeling intimidated by the pair of them ganging up on me,(and knowing I did not want to make a scene with the MASSIVE bouncers staring at me) I reluctantly went to the "pay" booth to square up from this monstrosity and get the "F" out of dodge. So, I handed over my credit card, Federal gov't issued ID, did the finger scan, then had the "manager" come out from behind the glass to have me sign a paper showing the charges. To my disbelief, I was being charged $300 for the dances, a 20% service fee, and a "mandatory" tip was required towards the "girls" that had just done nothing! Totaling $450ish dollars!! In a moment of uncertainty, (and having a relatively soft demeanor and personality) I signed the document and decided to cut my losses while I was behind. This was when part two of the scam kicked in. The girls, seeing my somewhat dissatisfaction, told me to go and sit with one of them in the back room area. Having just dropped 450 dollars for nothing, I was kinda feeling like they owed me something, so I went to sit down with one of them and see how they were going to try and square up. Not two minutes into our small talk conversation did the girl begin demanding more money for a 30 minute dance. She wanted an additional $400 for this time period!!! I was flabbergasted and refused (never once using distasteful language or touch)! This is where she then went bi-polar on me! She began yelling and swearing at me! I got up and went to speak with the bouncer standing there watching the entire thing go down. I asked him what kind of establishment is this? What was going on here? He agreed I had done NOTHING to provoke this insult on me, and then proceeded to "tow the company line" by not discussing anything further. I wanted to talk to the manager. Several minutes later he approached me. I explained what had happened, and questioned the "intent" and "fidelity" of his club, and if this incident was a regular occurrence. He wanted to know which girls were behind this, I told him, then I expressed that I would appreciate a refund for this crookedness. He couldn't do that because I had agreed to pay. At this point I wanted to just leave. This was when I was approached by the waitress wanting payment for the drinks I had had. Again, I was surprised to see that the scam artist(stripper/....etc) had ordered drinks while sitting with me and they were put on my tab!!! I called BS! and told the waitress that out of pure PRINCIPAL, there was NO WAY I was paying for them. A time later she returned and had the drinks removed. This establishment needs to be held accountable for the actions that go on inside the doors. They prey on visiting tourists. I will follow up someway, somehow, and try to stop this from happening to others. If you agree, or have personally had this experience and would like to combine resources and time to help get results, please feel free to respond.
All payment for dances are required upfront and the dancers know to ask for this first. If you wish you email us with additional details of the evening we would be more than happy to look into it for you. Our email is feedback [at] glittergulchlv [dot] [com] thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
Super Sunday!. I've been here a number of times and have had mostly good experiences. I did not kno what 2 expect but once we were inside there where nothing but gorgeous girls everywhere. We had a great time wit the ladies and were treated like VIP's. We will be back again fo sure!
Not so bad!.
When I was in the military a friend and I took a road trip from South Carolina to Arizona. Along the way we stopped at various strip clubs and I got to see strip clubs in big cities (Memphis, Austin, Phoenix) and strip clubs in back water towns. It goes without saying that I have seen a wide spectrum of strip clubs.
The Girls of Glitter Gulch fits somewhere between the average club and the outstanding club. I went to the Glitter Gulch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. There was no cover for us, just a two drink minimum which is fine considering the alcohol to ice and mixer ratio is off the charts. I ordered a martini and a shot of tequila to start and the shot was huge and the martini was exactly how a martini should taste. The girls are decent and most of them are friendly and will sit with you even after you make it clear there will be no private lap dance. The private lap dances were standard although I will say, if you encounter a girl who tells you she is a playboy model or bunny, do not accept a lap dance from her. The one I had spent the whole time telling me she was a playboy model. She was hot so it wasn't the worst I've ever had.
One of my biggest complaints was with the actual dancers on the stage. First of all, the stage is huge and sometimes the girls kind of just dance in one place. The other complaint is that the women barely strip. Call me a traditionalist but I do appreciate seeing a stripper take off more than a pair of panties to reveal a g-string. Again, it wasn't terrible but that aspect of the club needs improvement. My only other major complaint are the waitresses. First off, let me tell you, these women are hot. The only thing is, they were off-putting and not too friendly or helpful.
All in all I had a great night at the Glitter Gulch and would definitely go back. I would also recommend anyone reading this to go there without missing a beat. It's a fun time and like the title says, has the potential to be a great strip club.
Terrible's Gulch Is More Like It.
They advertised that the admission was free, but what they don't tell you is that your mandatory drinks cost $20 & I ordered coke (they were in 2 small shot glasses). The girls were ugly most of them had serious cellulite & looked pregnant. Others were just too old, should have been in an over 40 club. They got pretty rude when I didn't feel they were worth tipping & hassled me for lap dances all night. I almost took a dance from their lone good looker but glad I didn't reading these reviews. The place smelled of bleach, probably to kill what's infesting the place. I learned my lesson so I'd stay away if I were you.
BTW, the owner he's a scumbag! He contacted me on Yelp and asked me for all sorts of info, but it was pretty ridiculous. I believe all he tried to do was find evidence I was lying so he could get my review removed, but I guess I wasn't right?! He made no further attempts to resolve this issue.
My wife and I went on Dec. 29, 2011 while staying on Freemont street. We are in our late 40's fit, well dressed, and ready to spend a little money. Free cover means a 2 drink minimum for us both. We ordered 4 vodka martinis and sat down. Total cost $44. The drinks came out promptly because we were basically the only ones there. We received our martinis, 2 in a martini glass, chilled with olives, the other 2 in a big shot glass to pour in later (Not a big deal other than it was just warm watered down vodka by the time we got to the second one). The waitress said was only allowed to bring the drinks all at once ( I later found out why, she will never come back). I tipped her $6 and sat back to take a sip. I didn't even get the glass back down until one of the girls sat down and wanted me to go to the VIP room. I told her "no thanks" and she grabbed my arm, and my drink, and literally pulled me out of my chair. Again, I told her that we had just gotten there and just wanted to sit down and relax a minute. She said that it wouldn't cost anything, she just wanted to give me a tour. All the time I am protesting and she, still dragging me, went into the VIP room. At this point she sat my drink down and she sat down, still latched on to my hand. I jerked my hand out of hers, picked my drink up and headed out of the room without sitting down. I again repeated that I was going back with my wife an that I was not interested in a dance. She followed me back to my table asking for a tip teh whole way. She even sat down at the table, still demanding a tip. I gave her $2 to go away.
Finally I could relax and enjoy myself. The rest of the night was fun and we spent about $300 tipping the girls on stage and talking. One girl sat down for a few minutes and immediately our long lost waitress appeared wanting us to buy her a drink. We did and I ordered another round of martinis. My wife asked for a glass of water (which you have to drink in order to keep drinking vodka) The waitress brought the dancer a drink , our drinks, and the glass of water. It's important to remember that she did not charge us for the "glass of water", but they got another $55 for the drinks and another $5 tip.
We had a pretty nice time other than my attempted kidnapping earlier.
We went back the night of Jan.1. The place was a little more crowded and were seated at the back. We ordered our drinks, another $50 with tip. I asked the waitress if we could be moved to another table that was closer and her reply was, " I don't care, sit wherever." So we moved a little closer, our drinks in tow (the waitress left and did not offer to help us with out drinks or relocating). No problem. We sat there for about 15 minutes and my wife had to use the restroom. Before she let she asked me to get her a glass o water. I motioned to another waitress and asked for water and I thought she said that it would be $1.75 so I gave her $2. She turned back around after a few steps and told me it would be $7.75. For a glass of water? I told her "no thanks" and she left. My wife returned and I confirmed hat she received a glass of water the last time we were there. I walked to the back where this big guy with the headset was standing. I told him that we were going to stay and order more drinks but I was wondering if I could get a glass of water with our next order since we were planning to stay awhile and spend several hundred more dollars. This seemed to rub him the wrong way. He replied very sternly that they did not have water in a glass and that " My approach was not going to get me a free water". I thanked him, wished him a good night, and we left with the $500 I had planned to spend that night.
We went across the street and bought 2 bottles of water for 97 cents and went elsewhere to have a good time.
