Memorial Day Weekend 2010 - Kim is a jewel! Multiple phone calls to make sure my requirements were met insured a “warm fuzzy” that I was dealing with a reputable establishment. On Thursday, I
picked up the wave runner from their caring staff (forgive me for not remembering his name - he lent me his gloves! Rock on!) and left confident that I had a piece of gear that was dependable and reliable. The wave runner was a great addition to my weekend and a joy to ride. Not some piece of overused crap, but a brand new (<75 hr) ride that was clean, respectable and a blast at 5 AM on the Lake Mead glass.

This rental turned into a nightmare. We decided on the free ride for the whole family (2 kids, 2 adults) because it was cheaper and we were newbies, so we just wanted to screw around in a small
place at our own pace. On top of the $300 deposit on each ($1200 total), they made us sign a blank credit card slip (I'm still not sure why I did this...) for any additional damages. Then some brand spanking new employee filled out our damage reports and we were on our way. We had a great time...for about 20 minutes. One of the kids ATVs kept stalling then finally I couldn't get it started, so they sent over a mechanic who looks over the ATV and he says "You rolled it!". I said "Nope". He says "Well, it's broken." Then Kim, the office manager (watch out for this woman, don't get on her bad-side if you can) says "Well, I got your money and you're gonna pay for the damages!" then she goes on the rant where she was rude and sarcastic and she even put in a few quotes about God.
If you do decide to rent, go for the guided tour as the tour guides we came across seem awesome (like Shane) and I think they don't require the huge deposit. Also, inquire what "roll-over" damage looks like and inspect the ATVs yourself, don't rely on some just-hired employee who was watching the safety video with you to get it right.…
