Hot Dog Heaven's violent employees

I've been the greatest cheerleader for Hot Dog Heaven for 12 years. No matter what out of towners wanted to see, I always take them to Hot Dog Heaven. NEVER AGAIN!! I am 61 years old, served in the army during Vietnam, worked 30 years as a firefighter/paramedic, helicopter flight medic, etc. Dealt with the worst of the dirtbags. Never in my life have I been so humiliated in public as I was on October 5th, 2011, as I was at the hands of the totally out of control, nasty hot dog cooker at Hot Dog Heaven. They have the best food around, but do not deserve to even stay in business for the way they treat their customers. Don't even consider going there because you could be next. I honestly thought he was going to come out and get violent with me. He just scared the crap out of me. And I've been a great customer for over 12 years!

Food From Heaven!

The food is Great! My wife loves the Dog's which are good, but my Favorite is the Chicago Beef & Sausage Combo with Peppers. They have great Fies too!

We think it could only be improved by having indoor seating.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Ok so I lived next door to this owner for a couple years. She is a racist, and I am white ok...but I saw her ordering the african american and hispanic/latino people that lived around us around like her personal slaves, and paid them but they all look miserable...Anyway, this woman fed pigeons all the time and when asked to stop she would start screaming at you and say some truely foul and offensive things...Then she started flipping me off and yelling bitch everytime she saw me just for asking her to quit feeding the birds. (She said she feels sorry for them and they might starve without her)LMAO! When I asked her how could she own a business in the community and expect people to patronize it when she is so rude, she said I don't need or want your f*($&#ng business...So, that all aside, when you walk into her new store located at Silverado and Maryland Pkwy, you might think it is decent but you will still get the same rude service you expect at the Lake Mead site...Just stay far away from this place...Those hotdogs might be made out of pigeons that she fattens up!

Oh and her and her husband are always fighting in their apartment, and you can hear them it sounds like she has a gambling problem and does not pay her bills! And he is always lazy and needs to shower more often (GO SHOWER OLD MAN) LOL from what I heard

Racist owner, Stay away from this place.

I made an account today just to warn people about this place. If your African American, don't even bother coming here. Even if someone black is with you, don't bother. We have been turned down for service 3 times we came to visit. First time as we pulled up and walked towards the stand, we were told they close a quarter after 6:00pm, so we left, and went back a few days later, this time we get there and are told that its actually closed, they are just cleaning, and when asked why the open sign was on, all we received was an "oops", and the light was turned off. The third and final time, we get there around 5:10pm, there is another Caucasian gentlemen in line getting served, so we get in-line behind him, as we get to the counter, the owner turns the open sign off and says "Sorry, that's the last customer we are serving today." Outraged we demand he serve us our food and all he says is that they close at 6PM. I show him that its only 5:20PM, he just says back, "Sorry we aren't serving any more people today." People like this make me sick. I'm already in the process of contacting the BBB & mailing our mayor. As far as I knew, it was illegal to not serve someone due to race. If you have had a bad experience I also recommending letting your voice be heard.

What a bunch of whiners

My daughter & I were in LV for a convention. While sightseeing we came across HOT DOG HEAVEN.

We couldn't not stop. The hot dog & fries were from

heaven. I looked them up on the web. I read the complaints. Looks like I missed all the fun but

the dogs were great.

• Pros: Great Hot Dog!
• Cons: It's a long way from my home in Portland.
