Was Exactly What I Have Been Looking For In A Tanning Salon!. I knew as soon as I walked in, while greeted with a warm smile and a friendly "Hello", by who I found out later was the owner, I knew this was the place for me!! Staff was very personable, was an easy sign up, not a bunch of mumbo jumbo questionaires! The feel there is just a warm, comfortable, what a tanning salon should be kind of feel to the place! And from my journey to find this place I learned that its way too far and in between these days. I was not only running a little late in finding the place (since am new to the area!) but I knew that they were closing soon. They were so very pleasant and didnt rush me at all. I was extremely impressed with the friendly and warm way I was treated. And sure the beds might not be the most modern, but so what! U simply cannot beat the price. I am very happy with the color I got and am lookig forward to my next visit. Lets just put it this way. I reside in Summerlin and am willing to drive to Henderson to this Tanning Salon (36 miles away) to tan. I am that happy with this Establishment and the staff. So if you want to go to a Tanning Salon that is very reasonably priced with friendly staff and can walk in very comfortably with no make up, flip flops and sweats. then this is the place to go! I am absolutely excstatic I found them yesterday! Finally after so many rip off tanning salons that can actually look you in the face and charge you $20.00 for one tanning session is just beyond me. Total greed and I didn't get half the color I got for my $4.00 tanning session. Tan-U is awesome and will feel good continueing my business with them!

Great affordable place to tan. Great place to go for a nice tan!! The price is great, dont get fooled into all those other tanning salons that want to charge you $20+ for a single tan, if your not a member and dont want to pay a crazy expensive monthly membership fee. Yeah the beds may be a little old, but they all do the same job. I myself only need to tan 3-4 times a month to maintain a nice healthy glow (thanks to my half of me being of hispanic descent:). Save those monthly membership fees at those ritzy salons in town for the leather faces! Its in a great location too, only downside is they are closed on Sundays now, makes it tough for my hectic work/school schedule. Overall great place to tan, very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

$4.00 Tan is the Bomb. The salon itself is well located, the staff very friendly and the beds are adequate. I would not expect super incredible, brand new equipment if I paid only $4.00. I was not disappointed. What the shop lacked in new equipment, was certainly made up for with the great personalities of the lady in charge. She was freindly, accommodating and very appreciative. I have spent 4 times as much at other salons for the "newer bed experience" and it is over rated. I will keep going to see the great people at Tan-U.

i love this place. i started going here a month ago and i have seen them cleaning the beds and there is always clean towels and everything... these ppl r haters... and the lady who went tanning for her wedding just didnt know what she was doing... i mean she didnt even put on lotion for crying out loud!!!! duuuuuh u r going to burn!! i get nothing but compliments on my tan and it is completely even because i know wtf im doing. $4 is sooo cheap.. wtf r u guys complaining... then u should go pay 33$each time u tan somewhere else or 100$a month contract... rediculous.. and who cares if they r watching tv there... its not like u r there to hold a conversation.. jeeze... awsome place

Hmmm, Think again. Well, you get what you pay for....$4.00 is what most packages at other places breakdown too, go there and buy a package and tan there. The place is DIRTY, and the staff - is really unfriendly. OLD beds!! 24 lamp and cheap bulbs. Go check out other places, and dont get fooled by pricing.

Going here was one of the worst decisions of my life. My girlfriend and I go to Tan U because it's got good reviews here. We need a tan for a wedding; we want to wear strapless, so need to get rid of some tan lines. Hey, it's $4, what can we lose?

We ask the girl at the front how long to tan, since we've never used their equipment before. She's watching TV. She says about 12 minutes for my pale friend, 15 no problem for me since I tan easily (south asian). We pay and get there. The equipment looks like it's from the 1980s. There is no cleaning equipment. There is an antiquated fan at the end in case we get too hot.

So we tan the recommended time, after cleaning the windows ourselves. $4, right? And we BURN. BURN BURN BURN. Not only did we both burn, we burned unevenly - there are white splotches among the pink, and marks and streaks (I did not put on lotion). This is the most painful and complete burn of my adult life. I'm spotted with pink and white still, even four days later, and the burn is not even turning into a tan. So instead of evening my tan for this strapless dress at the wedding, I'm peeling skin and in horrendous pain.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SKIN. It's not worth saving money, and it's gross and unclean.

Good cheap tans!. Just replaced their bulbs, staff friendly, very affordable tanning. No catch, the one month unlimited package is worth every dollar (under $30) you don't have to sign up for an automatic payment like some other places.
