Nasty shrimp flavored broccoli in chicken dish!
by CSMobileUser at Citysearch
I used to live nearby this restaraunt, and ordered ALL the time! Now, living across town, I got it while visiting. We ordered our food to be delivered, chicken pad thai, and chicken rad-na. The pad-thai came with shrimp. I called to tell them to send another with NO shrimp. I was five minutes away. There was shrimp in my pad thai. I called to explain my allergy/preference. The female on the other end said to check the radna. I asked my sister to, and as she was unwrapping it, the woman says, "hurry up! I have other calls on hold!" Very rude. She could have said, hold please-or any other number of polite excuse me's. So, we say no, based on looking at the dish. When I ate the radna, the shrimp flavor staurated the broccoli and portions of the noodles! I was already concerned the cokks were taking turns spitting in my chicken pad-thai do-over. Forty minutes later, not even during dinner rush, my food makes its way, driven by a driver in a Mercedes Benz. My sister showed him the shrimp. He says, "we put two pices of shrimp in every general pad thai mix." So, if I had ordered pad thai, I'd get two small/medium shrimp pieces? Really? I'm on the hunt for a better Thai place. Not only will I never order from there again, I'm telling my friends they've gone downhill. The reason the lady said we should check is prob because they make a huge batch of each thing, then just pick out whatever a person doesn't order. This is my second delivery order in a week. Never again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Our Vegas Thai restaurant
by marieivy at Citysearch
My wife and I recently moved to Vegas from LA. We were craving Thai food tonight for dinner. While we had our favorite place in LA to dine, we had not yet found a Thai restaurant here. Well, tonight, we did. It's convenient to us and very reasonable priced. The lunch specials are even more economical. We ordered Crunchy Spicy Chicken, Fried Rice, Pad Tahi and Mongolian Beef. The Beef tasted a bit bland compared to the rest, but the other 3 dishes were exceptional. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a local, casual Thai dining experience.
- Pros: Convenient (for us), good value, friendly service
- Cons: None
