Tips for Paradise Permanent Makeup & Tattoos

March 19, 2013

I just had Karen Nielson treat my eyebrows with permanent make-up and she did a great job. Her sense for facial balance and placing the brows perfectly to my face was amazing. Due to personal taste however, I like my stuff a little...off, not only was she not insulted (no need to be, she was awesome) but she listened to me and heard what I wanted and happily tweaked away at it until I was 100% thrilled with her work! She is very sweet, patient, and is not very artistic (her words) but she is VERY keen on beauty balance and that is EXACTLY what a permanent make-up artist needs to be skilled at doing. I definitely recommend her, she does quality work!

I've had both my upper and lower eyelash enhancement done here and my eyebrows done several times over the last 8 years as well as took my mom there for the same as well. Leah Harris does a fantastic job. She really takes the time to do everything even and get it done right. The place does have more of a vibe of a downtown tattoo parlor than a tranquil spa but that's really not important to me. Unfortunately, the cosmetic ink does fade on me every 2 years or so, so I went to Min Permanent make-up one time to see if her ink would last longer and not only did it not last longer, it HURT like hell, and caused major bruising around my eyes, it was also more expensive and she was hard to communicate with. Her english was fine, but it's like she just wasn't listening to what I wanted. She couldn't comprehend that I wanted a slightly angular arch. Luckily it was just a touch up so the basic shape was there, otherwise I would have come out of there with big round rainbows above my eyes. Min also put numbing cream on my eyelids first so I couldn't see, and therefore correct her, as she was doing my eyebrows. I felt very vulnerable. One other time I had someone else do a touchup on my eyebrows also and she was EXTREMEMLY heavy handed and made them crooked. Leah had to fix it and after having the horrible experience with Min I will NEVER stray from Leah again. She is very light handed, which is all that is needed. Leah did suggest a little cat eye look on my eyeliner which I agreed to even though I wanted a natural look. It was a bit much at first but after a few weeks it faded a tad and blended in better and I love it now. My mom is extremely happy with her brows and liner also. It does hurt, this parlor is a little rough around the edges but Leah does a GREAT job and it is well worth the price if you've got sparse brows or eyelashes.

Walter Crutchfield can not be trusted. Well I will not comment one way or the other about the criminal side of Walter Crutchfield. What I will say is that he offerred to pay me to have any negative blogs and comments about him and his company such as at (blogspot dot com paradise permanent make up) removed. He also aske me to find him a good price on a flat screen tv. I told him that I would and that the prices were good for a sort time only and that he would have to act on it fast. He gave me his word he would. I told him that it would take at least 4-5 hours and that I did not want to waste my time. I gathered the information and submitted it to him. I never heard a word from him. So 2 days later I called him up and asked him what his problem was. Did he think I worked for free. He apologiged and said he was a man of his word, that he never screwed anyone and that he would pay me for my time as well as the purchase of one of the flat screens I gave him the information on. I asked me to please re-do the list and he promised he would have an answer that day. Well here it is a week later and the little prick has yet to call me or pay me. So if he can't keep his word here on such a little thing, I highly doubt he can keep his word anywhere else. I would use EXTREME caution when dealing with this man or relying on his word. Because I have the ability to place

this on other sites so that MANY others can see it, I plan to do just that. Warning others of this man's

inability to keep his word as well as his desire to use people or have them work for him for free may just

put him out of business. Also if anyone doubts my word or thinks I am just disgruntled employee, you can reach me at theunknownutter@hotmail dot com. I am not afraid to say who I am who give my contact info.

DO NOT GO HERE!. The place is disgusting, their artist is unqualified, and their reviews are fake. The owners of this business spend more time making fake reviews and responding to bad ones than they do at their business.

Terrible shop and artists.. Leah did my eyebrows and I've spent thousands lasering the ink off this past year. High ego, low skill. And I don't think they mind lying or even know what is right from wrong.

I am sure all of these comments are rigged like they were on the other sites.

I Love Leah!. Leah is a good artist with a gentle hand. She made me feel comfortable and at ease with the work that she was doing. My makeup came out just like I like it, and the healing process was very quick. I love you, Leah!

Worth Every Penny!!!. Leah drew up my tattoo in a flash. It was a beautiful swirl of stars up the side of my torso. My eyeliner was also wonderful, very painless. She did a beautiful job that's going to last forever and it was worth every penny!!!

Satisfied Customer. If you are looking for someone to do your makeup right go to Paradise Permanent Makeup. I went to Paradise over 5 years ago. They did my makeup just the way I wanted them to. I recently decided to get my lips done darker, so I had a touch up after 5 years. I am very happy. I don't think I need anything else. All I have to do is mascara, lip gloss, and go!

Looks Entirely Natural!. I had sparse spots in my mustache, so I looked into permanent makeup because I heard they could make tattoos look like real hair. I went to see Leah and she said she could fill it. That's exactly what she did. It matched my hair perfectly, it looks like hair, and can't even tell it's not natural. Guys it's definitely something you should check out if you have the same problem.
