Danger! I went in for blonde highlights and they left the bleach on way too long now my hair is breaking off. Please stay away. I learned the hard way

Worst hair experience I've ever had!!!!. I have never had my hair so messed up as I have with Mia Bella Salon. First, I decided to go to this salon because I had bought a coupon on livingsocial. When I called to make the appt, I told them that I had the coupon and they told me that they didn't accept them anymore. Mind you, I just bought it the day before. So I decided to go there anyways because of all the great reviews online. My appt was back in Sept 2011. I was getting my hair done for my sister's wedding which was the following weekend. When I went there I told the stylist that I wanted light brown hair with blonde highlights. I used Jennifer Aniston's hair color as a reference. She brought me swatches of color and I picked out the colors that I liked. I said I wanted natural looking highlights, not too chunky. So she started working on my hair. She said she uses a lower volume bleach and that it always works for her. As she was putting my highlights in, I noticed that she was putting a lot of foils on the top of my head. I asked about it and she said that it will look natural. I then said that I don't want too much blonde on top since I've had highlights that were pretty much a full color on top before. When she rinsed the color out of my hair and took me back to the chair, my hair was ORANGE!!! My hair picks up golden very well which I mentioned while she was putting the color in my hair. And it was the whole top of my head. She then tried to put a silver toner on my hair to take some of the orange away. That didn't work. She ended up adding low lights to the very top of my head and not everywhere she put the highlights. It did look better when my hair was down. When I got home and put my hair up, it was four different colors. It was still orange on the sides and the very back of my head.

The thing that upset me the most is that she made me feel like an idiot!!! When another stylist came over to try and help her fix what she had completely messed up, she told him that she put the colors on that I picked out. But the color I picked out was not orange!! When I said that the top of my head was a different color and that I didn't see highlights, she said that when I said natural it means that it's like that highlights you get from a box where they are more blended. I had said that I didn't want to entire top of my head one color and that's what it looked like.

She made me feel stupid by continuing to tell me that she gave me what I wanted. I NEVER said that I wanted ugly hair!!

I was so embarrassed to even leave my apartment that I didn't even want to go to the store to just buy a box of color that I had to put over the color I just had professionally done!!

I was there for over 4 hours for highlights/color and cut and she charged me $200.00. I would NEVER go back to this stylist, not even to paint my nails!!!

OH! WOW!. OK FIRST OF ALL YOU GUYS NEED TO CHANGE THAT ADDRESS BECAUSE ITS NOT THE RIGHT ONE, BUT IM STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU GUYS BECAUSE THEY TAKE CARE OF ME, MY HAIR IS SO NICE NOW, AND I HAD A GREAT PEDICURE IT WAS SO RELAXING :) IM SO GLAD THAT I FOUND THIS PLACE I DEFENETLY RECCOMEND IT

Love My Hair. I got a cut and color and I'm thrilled with my new look. I especially loved the shampoo. It felt amazing!

Great Customer Service. My bf got me a gift card for my birthday, and I got my haircut and a mani/pedi, and I was so pleased with the services and the staff that I go here regularly now. Recommend it for sure.

Best special occasion makeup!. I had a really big event to go to and needed to look great. I went to Connie for airbrush makeup, and I've gotta tell you, it was fab. I got a couple of quotes from other salons, but then found out Connie does makeup for the Latin Grammys and I was sold. Definitely ddoes NOT disappoint.

Worst Spa Ever!!!. I recently went to Mia Bella for the 4th of July Weekend. I made an appointment for 2 people and I opted for the relax and renew package for both of us. When I made the appointment I put a $75 down payment ( I guess to hold the appointment slot). As soon as we arrive we walk in the doors and there are plenty of people behind the hostess desk and not one person acknowledges us. I mean we stood there like five minutes and no one asked,

Very Skilled Cosmetologists. Mia Bella Salon is my girl's favorite place to hang out at! I'm cool with her going a couple of times a month. I go once in a while to take advantage of their amazing massages.

Mia Bella is a Great Salon!. A great place to go for salon and beauty care. I simply love being there! They really take good care of me and my friends and family. I even bring the husband so he can get a massage while he waits (when we can afford it of course)!
